Chuck's knee is better, that usually happens as soon as I make a dr's appt. But he was still wearing the brace yesterday.

The rain just ended, probably not for long. It's suppose to rain every day until Saturday. We still have a couple of acres of first crop hay to make. Its dead with new stuff coming up in it. Hope we can sell it for mulch and get some good 2nd crop, if we get the weather to even get it made.

I was suppose to get a series of shots in my knee starting tomorrow, but insurance denied coverage so I'm appealing...guess it might take up to a month to find out if they'll decide to pay for them.

Chuck's knee is better, but the dr he saw yesterday told him if it starts hurting again to go to the orthopedic dr that did surgery on it about 10 yrs ago. Said its probably getting arthritis in it and they'll give him steroid shots.

We found out this AM that our friend we trap beaver with is in the hospital. He has cirrhosis of the liver. We went to Butler to visit him this afternoon.

Dan, R u eating lots of zucchini bread? Our garden is really late and the deer and crows won't stay out if so not sure we'll get much out of it.

We went to a blue grass festival tonight at a coon and fox club. I asked a guy why they didn't have any coonhound competitions there. He said they had 150 members and no one had a hound! How sad is that? Plus only 10 members help out at events and they're in their 70's.

He is a Chihuahua mix, approximately eight weeks old, and cute as a button. Our vet works with Smiles Forever, an organization that rescues animals. His name is Charlie Brown. The place on his leg was caused by an IV. The liter of three had Parvo. Charlie was the only one to survive. Will post better pictures soon.

Corky, Charlie is cute...his face is sweet, so evenly marked. Not so sure u should be giving him coffee and donuts.
Had a busy wkend. Went to Mahaffey Friday and today. Only took Ruby Friday to FT, WR and NH. Took Dandy and her today to BS, WR, and FT.
When we got home today, Chuck mowed the yard and I worked in the garden and picked some blue berries. An Amish couple came on Friday and picked for 5 hrs, their son and his family came yesterday and picked 30 qt in a couple of hrs, I was hoping they got them all so I wouldn't have to pick for awhile, but that didn't happen.

Corky, How's Charlie doing? We do have quite a few blueberry bushes (over 100) some do better than others. The Amish have been picking most of them. We've sold 137 qt so far. And I have 10-12 qt in the freezer.

Everyone must be busy practicing for retirement, eating crabs, hunting coons or wondering how bobbers get in trees.
Glad Charlie is doing well.
Yesterday, we went fishing; today, we cleaned the boat for 2 hrs. It looks nice, told Chuck, we should put a FOR SALE sign on it. After we got done with the boat we went for a motorcycle ride. We need to clean it up tomorrow.
