nice and cool here this morning..might get some rain ...talked to uncle daryl last night for about an hour...his pups are growing and doing well....

Sprinkled down at the clubhouse while Jeff & I were mowin' this afternoon,it was nice & cool,gettin' ready for the dog swim next month.

Trial run swim

Sunday 7-28-13 at 10:00 am,Jeff called & said some of the guys were bringin' their dogs over for a practice run,anybody interested in givin' it a shot or to watch drop by.

Morning all. It was 51 degrees here this morning.What a change. Turned all the aussie's loose at the same time in the back 4 acres. They had a ball running. TD you going the first day of the tree rats opening day? Went to Wal-Mart and bought my fur buyers license the other day. Use to have to send an application in not now. Oh well things are getting easier for the state but they keep the same amount of people employed.

Yea Mike I'm plannin' on it,been seein' quite a few movin'. We had a nice little Blue bitch at the swim this mornin',first time too do it & she done a real nice job,Jim Bob Michaels dog,he swam her 3 times & each time she just got better,hope ta see a crowd next Sunday. You gonna eat them grounghogs Spotty?

This was just a practice run. There were about 10 people.

57 here this mornin' Mike,78 now,rain headed this way from Missouri & Kansas......nice day,the tree rats are in hidin' ain't seen none out for the last 2 days.

yep shot the groundhogs with the 223....these were a little big for eating..i like one about half grown...

Jeff told me that them groundhogs if cooked right were as good as roast beef,but them boys have even eatin' a llama.......& said it was delicious. I never go huntin' with them boys if they're hungry.

We got 1 inch of rain and never got out of the 60's. Sun tomorrow.

1/4" is all we got yesterday,cloudy today & a little muggy,but bearable.Squirrel day tomorrow

Offical UKC swim

This sunday Aug.4 at 10:00 am our first in a long time.....no squirrel huntin' today Mike,worked all day.

Went to the Doc. this morning and the leg wound is finally healed over with new skin,,I have to careful with it because the new skin thin and can tear open easily,but I'm happy .

Had a fair turn out for our 1st swim,thank you too everyone that helped & showed up,hope ta see ya the 24th of this month's swim. It was tough huntin' with them leaves on Mike.

Kid went fishin today came home with this 19 1/2 inches long weighed 3 lbs.

Anybody get any rain yet? None here yet,

got to come home for lunch today...no rain here...caught a nice mess of flatheads sunday night...but photobucket is not letting me upload my pic.s for some darn reason..i about to quit them and look for a new hosting website...
