Been plenty hot the last few days Jeff,Moo may be glad you let him off for awhile. Blotted roads today too keep the oil from comin' threw,wasn't bad till after dinner,hotter tomorrow

Stay cool TD. One pup left tonight. Eight more to go. The next two days and they will be all gone.

By golly Mike them pups must be a hot item down your way. Finished my road mix patchin' this mornin',a little warm but a nice breeze,done for the day,& goin' this afternoon too sell aluminum cans.....big $$$$$$$$$$ I'll have enough too pay off the national debt,not

Chuck I'll bet she was a walkin' library,106 she had a full life,& the stories she could re-call,hope she went peacefully. Stayed home last night from our hunt,the cans about got the best of me,had 109 lbs,not so much the weight,but the diggin' 'em out of the p/u with the topper on it,not enough room.

Rained last night,started around 10:00pm & I believe it rained most of the night,we got another 2 1/4".....nice & cool out I took the cook's word on the rain gauge,but after I went too dump it out found a bit more in it than she said.......like 3 1/2" with the 1/4" we had earlier,that make a total of 3 3/4". Talked too a lady that lives up in Oakland,she said one fellow got 5 1/2",I know the creek's are up & movin'.

You guys got a good rain. That will make the corn grow.

Good mornin' all,from the reports I been gettin' we'll have plenty of moisture too carry us through till fall,farmer friend that lives up by Arcola had 5" also with floodin',the crops are plenty irrigated,still better than last year.
