Well darn, but Jared's Jeep is broken down also so he didnt go and the closest one here was 2 hrs. So at least you didn't get behind.

Matt and I went tonight, had a great time. We just had fun and took nothing serious . I did get my Jeep fixed after we got back from hunting. It sure glad to have the ol girl back going again.... for now.

Looks like we've got about two weeks to get rested up. There aren't any hunts til after the first of the year in these parts. Once the first of the year hits I'll definitely be using my hired gun a little bit. That first week of the year has 2 hunts during the week and a pair of double headers on the weekend right here in the back yard. It could get exciting around here.

Sometimes you just have to let the dogs go and remember that it is just a "pleasure" hunt. How is Clifford? Being a Big Red Pup puts a lot of stress on growing bones and ligaments. Clifford has a lot of pressure on him now to succeed. He is the Cartel's Big Red Hope. I hope that he can handle the pressure.

The only pressure he feels is when the little redheaded boy is running late with the feed scoop I'm pretty sure. He want's to be a winner, I see it in his eyes.

We did have a nice hunt with the kids last night. Had 3 Boone Offspring and treed a den and 3 Coons. Also found a nice set of deer Antlers.
