Weather & Pups

Just hade some rain here yesterday and it has cooled off some. Going to start and hunt Hickory again this week.
Looks like Annie is going to have her litter today. She did not eat this morning and has been "nesting" in the box this morning. The other litters are doing good.

Bawl mouth on track and tree with super long locate on tree! Independent, intelligent, and very energetic. Stays put and holds under pressure. He weighs 90 lbs, has long ears, and dark with no tan markings! He is currently 1 1/2 years old, treed his first coon by himself at 9 months old!! Has Smokey River, Utchman, and Hammer in his blood . Goes back to Diamond Jim, JBS Chief, Hammer 8, and Coz's Spare Time Spanky. All of which you will find several times in his pedigree. I keep records of all his hunts and would be glad to share them with any one interested. His recent statistics for last month are as follows.

14 cast
12 trees = 86% tree rate
Coon seen 10 times = 83% thats counting 1 bay at rivers edge and 1 hollow tree
averaged 1.7 hours a hunt
averaged 3.44 miles a hunt
averaged 304 yards deep / furtherest distance from me
traveled a total distance of 48 miles in the 14 cast

Thanks, he has Utchman 42 times in 4 or 5 generation. I just recently entered him in his first HTX, BS, and 2 friendly club hunts. Passed the hunt test, won Jr. Class in both BS and best of breed in one. Won both club hunts. Best of all I think he's one of the two smartest dogs I've ever owned! Super super intelligent! I'll send a video.
