This is Nt Ch Warrior Creek CW. The sire of Gr Nt Ch Blue Bio Blue Flower, the dam of 6 Again. You will also find him in the pedigree of Jet 7 and others. The dog was named Blue Bio Blue Jet until he was sold to Heyward Douglas, who is in this photo along with Rick Meyer. As Blue Bio Blue Jet and at the ripe old age of 1 year, we ended up 21st at the UKC World Hunt in 96.

see alotta them open ticks on him,i get those on mine also wonder where they came from in my dogs lol,put a best of show on lonesome again this is 2 now and put the 3rd champion win on annie up last night but the hunt went totally the opposite way lol

Stub and Ed on a visit which to them was way down South. Wish I could comprise a list of all the Bluetick people and the dogs that have been on this place over the years. Also the three years I spent in Texas, would not take anything for the memories and the great people I met out there. Not only Texas but Ok, La, Mo, Ark. and Ks while out there and since.

Thought it was funny, Scott Phillips posted for me to clean out my inbox and he got close to a hundred hits so far on that. I had deleted most all my messages so I did not understand why it was saying Full. Russ had told me the same thing not long ago. Scott had to walk me through on here how to clean out my sent messages, too. How many of you knew about that ? Maybe I'm the only one that did not. Ed has called a couple of times about me making a trip up to hunt. Need to, want to and will as soon as I can. Was told at the benefit hunt held for Trevor that Big Boy won it with 1050 +. Jamie said that made his Lucy female out of Big Boy worth even more. Spoke with Jimmie Yawn and Curtis Todd by phone. Good luck to them. Robert Altman -You still out there? Give me a shout if you read this. Been sending as many snakes as possible to the promised land-just getting started good around here-will try to make as large a dent in their population as I can this Summer and Fall. Good to hear from Stanley Bowling too. Also from the great state of Alabama (don't they play football over there?) Charlie Shafer. Going to be messing with some pups I hope. Ed and I were on the phone back and forth for most of yesterday. Trying to work out getting a young pup up to his house. Those of you who know him well will laugh at reading this. The first call went like this. He tells me his son is down there around me and could I possibly meet him with the pup. Yea Ed where is your son at? Ed says -pretty close I think-lets see-south of Nashville. I ask Ed-Nashville,Ga. or Nashville,Tn.? Tn. I think how far is that from you? A long way Ed. So he says-let me call him-he is south of there and I will call you back. Ed's son was at a place north of Cookeville. Ed calls back tells me that. I tell him I was at a Bluetick hunt in Cookeville in 1977 and that is a pretty good drive from here. We have agreed for me to take the pup up when I can unless someone we know is headed up Ed's way. Ed is and has always been about finding away to get things done. Joe had a good time up there recently and we wish him well with the Hope female, she is from 6 Again and Jimmie Yawn's Gr Nt Ch Birdy female. High "hope" for the pups from her and Rejet that I have seen. She should cross well with the Junior dog Joe has and or his Patch dog. Hang a night champion title on Hope Joe -make us all happy!

I have not seen this much rain since 1994. That year the flooding shut down I-75. Looks like the only serious damage so far is my garden. The Bass ate my peas. The Man upstairs is not going to put more on us in one day than we can handle. Lots of calls from folks with pups and from folks wanting pups. Keep trying to break away for a trip to Ed's. It is no secret that I am also trying to help make sure we have the best BBCHA Blue Book this year. It would be nice if you guys hunting these Jet dogs would let everyone else know that you like them.Real easy to do with an ad. A chance to be a part of something really special. This last batch of pups know how to bend their necks and I ain't talkin bout down for a feed bowl either. Hope all of you have a happy and a safe 4th.

Enjoy seeing and reading your post on Junior, Buzz and now Hope. The ones off of these are just as enjoyable to read about and hopefully hunt with one day. Reject and Big Boy have put some interesting young dogs out there,too. There is also a nice young male in Missouri out of a littermate to Rejet. Hopefully in the future I will be able to get something out of your 6 Again stuff to cross on mine. If I am able to talk you two into putting one of mine in your kennels, well I will think I did OK. Best of luck and keep up the good work.

lonesome now reads at ch nitech stebers mighty lonesome,he came in last night with 775 no minus no circle that was his 3rd 1st place win and he won his cast at ohio but wasn't enough I am so thankful for you all getting this line or crosses going!! gonna try to breed lonesome to some females this coming year,if we don't have to build an ark!! guess I will take penny and lonesome on mine lol,take care cw and waitin to hear bout blue book

When I get Hope bred to Jr you might want to add one of them to your kennel. I know you will have something down there to add up here. We just need to keep this line going strong so that we can enjoy the results for a long time. Joe

I have been in a self imposed hibernation, trying to get accreditation by the state. After 40 plus years of not studying it has been tough. One way or the other it will be over in a few days. Joe and John-I will send you something in the mail. Scott tell Ed to hold on-I will get there. Josh-give me a call back. Based on all the rain, we should have a bumper crop of everything in the woods and swamps-acorns, musscadines and mosquitoes. Hope that translates into more coons as well. Will also be working on my ad for the BBCHA blue book soon. Dale and Rodney just picked up their 3rd Nt Ch win on Lace. Dale Parker will not tell me what he has planned for his ad. Big congrats to John on making Lonesome a Night Champion-he is a good looking hound. Joe let us know when you get Hope and Junior's courtship started! Plan on getting to hunt with more of these dogs off 6 Again and his grand pups. SEND PHOTOS or post them! Take care and good luck.

Just got back from a day time walk through of the places I hunt close and the most. You get a better feel for the lay of the land and how to hunt it by looking during the day rather than at night. Wild hog sign as bad as I have ever seen it. Water in the swamps is and has stayed at Winter time levels throughout the summer. There should be an abundance of acorns and muscadines, which should both be good for our coons. I carry a 22 with me during the day. I try to shoot every hog I see and look for that occasional alligator. Really enjoy just " snooping and slipping around. Know I'm in a zone when I see a fox or deer and they do not even know I'm in there with them. Down here you can not get fully locked in because while looking at or for all that other game you had better be mindful of our no-legged buddies slithering around. That is why I carry the 22 during the day-kind of levels the playing field. I can reach out there an touch them no matter where he is. At night my stick is the weapon of choice-helps with spider webs and briars too. Had a good time getting my boots wet and muddy, reminiscing about hunts, hounds and friends many of which are also part of the past. Makes me appreciate today and look forward to tomorrow on this Sunday August 4th, 2013--best day of my life so far!

glad to see your out and about,cant seem to get time to wander during the day but sounds like a good way to spend it,put lonesome in his 1rst nitech hunt and we were all done in 10 minutes 3 treed a possum and lonesome was in milling around 20 yards or so they voted I was there and get scratched with them? but he shouldn't have been close ,so we pleasure hunted for awhile and went to the house,good way to blow 20 bucks ,huh?

Loaded up a male pup just before daylight. By the time we got to the woods I did not need a flashlight. Turned him loose where I felt comfortable we would be able to get on a coon. He could smell where one had been but not enough to open up. Back and forth and returning smelling up this one tree. He treed on it but not convincingly. I looked it over then leashed him up without squalling or shaking any vines. At another spot we had pretty much the same situation. I did not encourage the pup just let things unfold without interfering. Drove to a place where I hoped we could get on hotter scent. It was after 7:30 am by now. The pup went in an opened, knew this was better to him. He opened a couple more times moving towards a small pond. The track got a little better and moved to the upper end opposite of the dam. Everything changed at this point, he is opening and splashing in the water but taking it out of there. For the next 10 minutes while I'm walking fast, I'm wondering if he jumped a deer-well-you know how it is when the track gets too good. I heard a big old long locate and could not stop the smile. I worked my way around to get even with him and started in. The tree was big but in a spot where I could see. I shook the vines and then backed up to the best spot and as soon as I squalled, down the tree came the coon. I petted him up good and we headed to the house.

It is hot down here

Things are hot all over. The temperature is hot. Muggy, humid and wet from all the rain. The Atlanta Braves are hot. Best winning streak of the season, in first place and we will see how the rest of the year turns out for them. These Bluetick pups are hot. Bobby Carter and I just got in from a short hunt. Took a while to find the coon but the way that tree sounded, we just knew it had to be up there. So we were glad to see it. Going to work on my travel schedule and see if I can attend the bigger events taking place in the next couple of months. Spoke with several Bluetick men lately. With talk of football in the air, coon hunting and dog talk picks up as well. Hope you have a young one who excites you. Each season is filled with the opportunities to create memories that last a life time. If you do not have it, go find it. If not now-then when?

C.W,i was just pondering with buzz numbers last nite and came up with 63 pups 26 which were born after Christmas this year,litter of 6 born in sept last year 3 of those dead.leaving 31 older with at least 3 more died and 3 being on the farm,so outa the 31 older 2 are nitech 4 sc 1 with 4th and 2 with 1rst place wins just wondering if it always goes this way? and should I continue on a forward moption with buzz?or bail out and start a different path
