I was born and raised in the heart of BIG TEN country, went to Michigan games when I was a kid, went to high school across the road from the BIG HOUSE, practiced football there to prepare for high school games on artificial turf, Jim Harbaugh was my high school quarterback, Andy Moeller (Coach Mo's kid) was our defensive tackle, I played hockey with Keith Bostick, John Wangler was my student teacher, I was around many great Michigan Football players growing up and I'm not too proud to say the BIG TEN got handed their A$$ yesterday like they usually do in bowl games against other conferences. It was EMBARRASSING to say the least. I hate to admit this but our last hope is OHIO STATE. GO BUCKS! Did I really say that? Holy cow I'm getting desperate!!!

I think we need a congressional investigation into all of the National Championships the SEC has since the BCS has been established. I'm sure it's a conspiracy.

Well ya know what? If u want to play for a BCS title, schedule a few REAL teams, or join a "Big Boy" football conference. If Boise State played in the SEC, they'd be lucky to stay in the middle of the pack.

Just looked at Boise's 2010-2011schedule, & it's easy to see why they want a play-off! I'm sure teams like Alabama, Auburn, & LSU would love to play Boise's schedule. It'd be like a 7-on-7 scrimmage, w/ a couple practice games thrown in. They wouldn't have to worry about injuries, and wud be well-rested by the time the play-offs rolled around.

Face it, the only way Boise would have half a chance to even stay on the field with a top tier SEC team, is by catching them torn down by injuries & emotionally drained from running the SEC Guantlet. Just like that's the only reason they beat Oklahoma. U don't win SEC Championships with Statue of Liberty & Hook 'n Ladder plays!

I personally don't want to see a play-off. It would give the advantage to teams with cake-walk in-conference schedules & punish SEC/Big-10/Big-12 schools how would still have to beat each other up trying to win the right to play in it. We've seen it over & over in these mickey mouse bowl games where a team like Boise or Utah who's well-rested, & been able to game-plan for the big boy school for the last 3 games of their weak regular season schedule, then catches a their opponent "down" & gimmicks their way to a win

Why would u want to ruin the excitement of Bowl Season with something like the NCAA Basketball tournament? I'd bet the farm on Boise not winning a Nat'l title if the NCAA went to a play-off this year. It'd be just like all those Cinderella stories in NCAA Basketball. Your still gonna have a Big Boy school win it all. All Cinderella's like Boise State would do is knock-out a team early that had a real shot to win it, & Cinderella would do like they do in every sport with a tourney/play-off. Give the talking heads at ESPN something to run their mouth about & hype them up to be the "greatest Cinderella story ever," just to watch them get their ass knocked-outta the play-offs in the 2nd or 3rd round.

An SEC team gets ripped for strength of schedule b/c they don't schedule 2-3, Top 15-20 ranked out-of-conference games, when they already play twice as many ranked teams just from their SEC schedule. Now, can anyone look at Boise State's 2010 schedule, & honestly say they deserve a shot at the BCS title? Hell, I'm a born Bama-hater, & when I compare their schedule to Boise's, i'd rather a 3-loss Bama team play for the BCS Title over an undefeated Boise State squad that played this weak, little powder-puff schedule! I see where Boise's gonna join the Big East next year. Wow! That's a real improvement! What a joke!

wisconsin got beat by michigan st, according to you michgan st is a joke. so that would mean that wisconsin is even a bigger joke. tcu only beat wisconsin by 2 points. so does that mean tcu is just as big a joke as michigan st?
if not by a great play by the linebacker, that game would have gone into over time. tcu's coach even said they would not be able to stop wisconsin on that last drive so they needed to get their offense ready to go.
teams playing hard nosed defense will create turnovers. they are not all caused by the offense playing sloppy.

. I thought you were not posting anymore? Fact is the SEC is pathetic in all sports with the exception of football so ill leave you all alone. You'll all think the SEC is the best no matter if they'd lose every bowl game. I like college basketball better anyways.

No...I was right...You aren't being honest and telling what the article actually says.... here is a direct quote from the article you gave the link to.

What part of "ILLEGAL SUBSTITUTION PENALTY" do you not understand??

They used a poorly written rule that actually gives a team YARDAGE of they have too many men on the field. The NCAA admitted it was wrong and will be removing that rule from their rulebook.

Yeah...makes perfect sense to me.

News on the bowl games is the Big 10 is a miserable failure this weekend.

I could care less about the status if the UT football team. Or any team for that matter.....but I can recognize a poorly officiated game any day of the week.

And I can also recognize a pitiful excuse for a human being with more time on his hands and enough empty space between his ears that the only thing he can grasp and comprehend is a bunch of thugs and crooks running around chasing a ball.

I disagree Russell...in a playoff situation you have to win multiple games vs the best of the best competition. The SEC teams are used to that. They have to be "up" every week or they get beat and then they have to turn around and prepare for another bloodletting the next week. They would be used to it. The big "cinderella" upsets would still happen in some 1st round games, but if a team can do it multiple times on their way to a title, then it is no fluke, they are the real deal. It is the same way in high school football. A team that plays in a tough conference typically does well come playoff time because they have been hardened by tough competition.

Now Hoosier Woman1, let's talk about how your Indiana Hoosiers are doing in athletics, shall we? Or would u rather not get into why it is a Hoosier would need to jump on an Idaho teams bandwagon? Don't say very much for Indiana's football program, does it? U wanna talk about a basketball school, I thought u Hoosiers lived and breathed it? How long has it been since Indiana's basketball team was even relevent? We won't even get into the Pacers! Guess it makes since why u would be riding the Boise St bandwagon. The only Indiana sports event anyone outside your state is remotely interested in, is when Nascar comes to town for the Brickyard 400.

SEC teams are "scared" of Boise State? You need to come back to earth, fella. Look at Alabama, Auburn, LSU, & any other SEC teams schedule, & then look at Boise's pansy-@$$, 2010-11 football schedule & tell me who's scared to play big boy football!

U should be happy Boise isn't playing in the BCS Title game against Oregon or Auburn, cause u'd be having a nervous breakdown by halftime, trying to come up with an excuse why Boise couldn't even put up a fight for 2 Quarters of a game! Besides, then u would have to try & find another team w/ a cupcake schedule & no chance of actually having to play against the Big Boys, so u can keep on pretending you're some kind of Div-I football genius, & making a total ass of yourself. Ha!

I really feel sorry for Hoosier Woman1. Can u imagine how sad it must be for all the sports team in your whole, entire state to suck so bad, it forces u to route for one in Idaho!
