"THANX" John ! Your welcome most anytime & we's ain't got no bugs.Well, except, my lil beagle pup. Her name is "Bugs" but not a bug per say...LOL!!

I had'ta put a quarter inch of bug dope on me last night just to avoid needin a transfusion before the cast got done! "GEEESSShhhh" them dang things was a feedin on me & I'm a freakazoid 'bout gettin bit by them!

Only thing we need bug dope for around here is when we go somewhere else, seriously. So if'n ya wanna go huntin & not hav'ta chew half of your air come on over, door's open!

Didn't mean'ta stiff ya that 25 ....LOL !! Not gonna get much competetion from us at the others except maybe the club hunts of course. Didn't like it when we went to two hour hunts & really don't like a one hour model but that's just my train of thought.

When did ya get your first first at?

"CONGRATS" on your winnin's as well & the steps your takin! Gratifying isn't it??

Tim,looks like the good is out weighin the bad for now & thats great!! We're a lil giddy 'bout the pups we got as well. "Dude" is growin so much his feet have gone a lil haywire but pretty confident they'll come around when the growin spurts slow down,"IF" they do...LOL!! He's got a slick shiny coat & "IF" he stays within standards I think some are gona hav'ta contend with him in some of them bigger knuckle bendin contests.

Get a chance, maybe put some pictures of "Lilly" on here? Love to see her!

Good thing you had "Chewie" to teach the other's huh ?

If she sleep's near or mess' with Packer stuff she musta been traumatized as a child...LOL!!??

Bring her up & we'll do some "LINE" breedin. Like to get some of that hair coat for the 8 months outa the year we have winter. Surely save on dogfood if'n they ain't shiverin !

Well russ entered latch in a hunt tonight at wilton club we needed an open guide so i switched lady for latch didn't win but at seven months old to split tree twice and have the coon both times one he held for about 15 or 20 minutes by himself I'm as happy as i can be right now.

Boone, sounds like you got a reason to be that happy no doubt. Win or lose that's a pretty impressive feat for a seven month old pup with all strange dawgs!!

Real happy you've got what ya bred "Lady" for! Now I gotta get the "Dude" out & get after it myself. He's waiting patiently I just been side tracked with this movin BS & the stuff that comes with it & it's kinda got my fire fizzlin a lil for now. Temporary I asure you!

I "MIGHT" consider selling him to the rite person only because we've got some awful nice young females & kinda what we're shootin for. He's a big beautiful slick haired loud mouthed pup with a cut above the rest kinda personality. I wanted to make him into one of my housedawgs but the wife say's we'd hav'ta add onto the legs of some of the furniture so he's not nockin stuff off the tables & counter top's...LOL!

They say it is possible to have to many nice young dogs which it is I reckon. Pretty much within a couple months in age of each other & only so much time 'ta work with each.

I also may consider selling the "Sadie" female I have outa Quad GrCh Maddod physco "Sid" & GrCh Sadie's rushcreek "Shiloh",a sister to "Bum". Be a year in september, got a big bawl mouth, intense treedawg & flat hate's a coon. Got some bigtime showin in her career with some maturity. Guess she fall's in that catagory of to many & bein over shadowed by others unfortunately. She's gona make a dandy Dual purpose female with some time put in on her & just the perfect age for this fall.

Pup

I got the picture of the pup yesterday. I just didn't have my phone until late cause I had a heifer get loose and had to round her up then fix the fence. Back to the pup though he is a good looking joker and he looks like he is going to be a good sized dog. Did you say it was 90 there yesterday?

"THE FROG DOG"

10-4 on that 90 stuff! As they say it's that blasted humidity that really stinks & we been havin more than our share for this country.

I beleive your rite about them havin a lil size to them but not the saddlin kind I'm fairly sure. He is an extremely well put together young lad,in fact all four of them are pretty nice in the confirmation department. Got some runnin gear under'um,tight feet, awsome set of ears for the coon to chew on & gona be of the stout models.

I been thru that heifer chasin fence fixin stuff a few to many times myself & know rite where your comin from. Not really what a person would classify as fun thats for sure especially this time of year.

All I can say is its a good thing they taste good !!

Posted by on 07-20-2010 04:22 AM:

The "Sadie" female I mentioned above this morning has found a home I beleive way down south in the land of many chiggers. Give me the goose pimples just hearin 'bout them things!

Latch and lucy got their first taste of a good ol corn field chase tonight but after an hour and fifteen minutes i decided a couple hours of sleep sounded better than seeing if they could ever figure it out. So much for my quick dump

Boone, them quck turnout's & the emphamis "Just one more dump" have cost a lot of us more sleep than we care to recall....LOL!!

Your givin them opportunities that's what matter's.

Posted by hogfan 21 on 07-21-2010 04:20 AM:

Crap! I didn't think it was supposed to be that hot up your way?

I honestly prefer a bigger hound so I am glad he is turning out that way.

Boone, the "Dude" has been treed above the house & down a peice for a good while this mornin. Rest of the runnin loose model's where havin a bit of an uproar when he lit up & now there isn't a dog left in the yard ! Sure'nuff cause' me to get some grinnin in !

What a mouth !!

Tim,So the coward wouldn't clumb a tree huh?..LOL! Catchin them is almost better than treein them to me. I flat love a smoker with the death cry at the end.

Matt & I the other night had "Patch" & "Moe" out. Didn't even seem possible that they could be goin as fast as they where in the corn. "Patch" has that coon catchin thing 'bout perfected & I see lots of fur snaggled up in his teeth in the future. That cowardly coon made it to a massive dozer pile but next time we'll be waitin for it or it's cousin's to try it again.

Gota cross the road to get there so the option of cuttin'um off at the pass is possible?

I will get you a PM sent in a bit Tim.....

I also may sell a 5 month old female outa "Patch" & "Sas" thats been on the loose since they was able to. She freaks over a coon & gota course kinda mouth on her. Not gonna be to big of a female but loaded with heart & desire best I can tell so far from watchin them ramble around the holler. We are gettin ready to move & cuttin down on the flock will releive a lil kaos for us gettin things preped to move the Crew. Gona be a pain no doubt for a bit till we get the kennel's up & the crete poured.

Matt is considering partin with his male "Coop". He is outa the "Bum" & "Whitey" cross,2nd litter. He's a smaller dog with a 100 pound mouth. Loud screamin bawl & charged 440. Born 1/1/09 & has several littermates that are excelling nicely including my "Fancy" female. He's been hunted but not enough the way he should be like a lot of them but he's got a lot of potential if givin the chance. I promise you there ain't a dog out there that can drown him out in the volume department.

Get his energy harnassed & I think he will be quite the lil hound. He's been shown once I think & got a BOS. He is put up very well & can make a GrCh rather easy.

We just are limited on time & tryin to focus on the ones that are bein entered in the hunts when we can get out largely. Matt has been doin majority of the handlin this year because I can't & everybody else been extremely busy with work & stuff. He finished the "Bum" & 2 away from finishin "Patch" this year in limited hunts. We are tryin to get the wins at the better attended events aposed to the 8 dog models.Between work & family, throw in this blasted heat & it's hard to do it all just like it is for a lot of us.

We have a few really nice youngsters runnin around here to pick from & the reason we like to have a few. "MAYBE" it's me that is the collector?

My health hasn't been worth a hoot & my pup ramblin has suffered because of it some but it is what it is & I do what I can with the response one would hope for outa my pupils. Nothin like steppin out the door & havin the hurd waitin'ta see what we are gona do today?

Eager pups make me grin uncontrolably!

Posted by boonebrandau on 07-22-2010 03:42 PM:

Russ latch did another good job last night at are club buddy hunt he didn't make the first tree which cost him the win but considering he's the only one who ran the track for ten minutes and chased it out of the field for the other two to get struck and treed i was happy. First and first on the second dump. If you just need a place for the dude for awhile let me no i got someone interested in my female so i would have room maybe partnership on him or something

Posted by on 07-23-2010 03:43 AM:

He must be doin one hekuva job Boone the way it sounds! Exciting stuff isn't it ?

Got sumthin cookin & if it happens I may hang on to him for now? Afraid he's gona be a lil larger than I care for though.

Posted by boonebrandau on 07-23-2010 06:09 AM:

Like i said if you just need the room for now let me no i could keep him for a while for ya
