Dan, didn't u split the $ with Nancy? She doesn't look as happy as u do.
Trying to enjoy my time in KY with friends...feel kind of guilty knowing Chuck is taking care of the animals and spending a lot of time at the hospital. Two friends didn't make it because their sister was admitted to AGH in critical condition. She's better now, but waiting on test results to come back to see if she has some kind of meningitis.
Talked to Chuck tonight; they caught 2 beavers today and pulled the traps. His mom was supposed to go to the transitional care unit for therapy, but she's too weak so they're making arrangements to put her in a nursing home. Not sure why, but they xrayed her lungs today and found she has pneumonia so they might not move her yet. Chuck said she's upset, she just wants to go home, but she has a feeding tube and can't.

Went to dog event at tri county, WB was a no show but it was good to talk to mended today. well guess what !!! I won the 50-50 --- see ya

R u guys hunting turkeys yet? I think it doesn't come open in PA for a few more wks yet. I bought stuff at TSC last wk that I need to get mixed up to spray on our clothes for ticks. PA had more reported case of Lyme's disease in people than anyother state last yr.

Chuck said an aide came in to wash his mom and partially pulled out her feeding tube....AND DIDN'T KNOW IT! His sister (retired nurse) noticed it and told a nurse. They had to take it the rest of the way out. Monday, she was supposed to go to the nursing home, but now the have to put the feeding tube back in. Chuck said it will probably be in her stomach this time. He is not happy with the care or lack of that she's getting. Her IV was leaking, they got it fixed today. His sister told him if u think this is bad, wait until she goes to the nursing home.

TURKEY SEASON IS NOT IN HERE YET. I WILL NEED TO LOOK THE DATE UP. WE HAVE BEEN SEEING SOME IN FIELDS. THE TOMS ARE STRUTTING AND I MADE ONE GOBBLE WHEN I TRIED TO CALL WITH OUT A CALL. IT WORKED ONCE.!! I AM GOING TO GUESS AND SAY AROUND APRIL 15TH IS OUR SEASON.

Oh my goodness...

....I will never catch up on here, I AM FINE, Everyone here fine, life fine.... my laptop croaked and i cant do this on my phone.... too much headache.... My old neck makes me limit my computer time BUT I have a tablet now. Bob is good, kids good and Mumis 97 and awesome...although needing more help. I am busy and tired and sore but GOOD!
Without reading through this whole thread....I hope everyone is well and think of you guys and gals and dawgs......often! I do send time on instagram where pix are easier on me than words. I am bhfarmqueen over there if anyone here ever goes to instagram.

Thanks for the prayers. Chuck's mom got moved to the nursing home last night. She improved enough that they didn't have to put a feeding tube in, but everything has to be the consistency of honey. She said at PT today, she walked 5 steps while they were holding her up...her plan is to go home ASAP. But if that day comes, its probably not soon because she's retaining fluid and is having problems breathing.

Got home from KY around 2 AM on Monday. A long drive which was pretty uneventful except in Columbus OH where Cheryl turned too soon on the way to a restaurant and went in the out lanes. Fortunately, no one was coming out. Just as we were leaving the restaurant, everyone's cell phones got tornado warnings. The manager said it was NE of us which is the direction we were going. He told us their policy is for every to take shelter in their walkin coolers if one is in the area. We waited until the rain slacked off then made a run for it.

We saw a nice gobbler yesterday just a few miles from here. Its a place Chuck usually checks out in archery season. He's got a turkey there before and an 8 pt and his brother got a 10 pt.
