A man left Wisconsin for a vacation in Florida. His wife was on a business trip in New York and planned to fly down to meet him the next day. When the man arrived in Florida he e-mailed his wife to let her know he had arrived, but accidentally sent it to the wrong e-mail address. Instead of going to his wife his e-mail went to the inbox of a woman whose husband had just passed away. When the grieving widow opened her e-mail she screamed and fainted. Her son rushed into the room and found this message displayed on her computer screen: "My darling wife: I just checked in, everything is prepared for your arrival tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing you again. Your loving husband. p.s. Sure is hot down here."

Not much going on in cloudy PA. It's a little warmer and not windy. We took Chuck's parents out for lunch. It was his dad's first time to a Chinese restaurant.
Took the dogs for a ride when we got home. Ruby's in heat so they can't run together. It takes longer to run them one at a time, but we enjoy the ride in the woods almost as much as they like their exercise time. We saw 8 deer and some fisher tracks. No sign of a coon anywhere. Some guys with camps around here are posting pictures of bucks on FB. Pictures were just taken this wk on their trail. cameras.

Well more late night Tar Hill Road adventures first on the way back at Fort Bragg with out any warning the road was barricaded and closed trying to get around that with lady Garmin can be a blast since it keeps recalculating back to the way she thinks you should go having hunted Friday night until 3:00 in the morning and with the extra time getting around the road block I was getting tired and still an hour and a half from home so I took an exit to stretch my legs and to get woke up the exit ramp rolled right into a round about and not that they were having a road check in the round about I roll up and officer comes over with one of them bright flashlights shining it around an asking for my driver's license he says thank you and y'all have a good night I am by myself so I thinking have I picked up a hitch hiker and don't know it I start looking around nobody in the passenger seat than I look in the back seat nobody there either I am thinking boy I am not the only one having a long night anyway I am wide awake now so I just roll on around the round about and back on the interstate

Its the final round of the $64,000 question and only 3 remaining contestants are left, an Englishman, a Texan and an Arkansan. The question is, finish the following song title and spell the answer. " Old Macdonald had a ____". The Englishman goes 1st and says "estate" "e-s-t-a-t-e". The announcer says sorry wrong answer, but right spelling, meanwhile the Arkansan is going nuts he is so excited he cannot control himself. The Texan goes next and answers " Ranch", "r-a-n-c-h". The announcer says sorry wrong answer but right spelling, and the Arkansan is jumping up and down and he is so excited he almost screams. The announcer turns to the Arkansan and says "for $64,000 what is the answer". The Arkansan answers "farm" , "e-i-e-i-o"

Had a nice time at the Blue Grass Festival. Saw a few old friends, I hadn't seen for yrs. They didn't tell alot of jokes, but this one got a few chuckles, especially from the guy sitting behind me. A guy was jogging down a path and he saw a tennis ball laying in the middle of it, he stopped to look at it and it looked new so he decided to keep it. He didn't have any pockets so he put it down his shorts and continued jogging. Awhile later he came to a bench and decided to take a break. A woman walking decided to take a break there, too. They started talking and finally the woman said I can't help but notice a bulge in your shorts. He said, yes, I have a tennis ball. She said, oh, that must be painful, I had tennis elbow once, it was terrible.
Chuck set beside a guy last night that was in his 80's. My sister and I graduated with his daughters. Chuck and him got talking coon hunting. He had a Bluetick and hunted with a couple of guys that had Walkers. I, of course, had to get my phone out and show him some pictures and videos of Dandy and Ruby. He heard Ruby treeing and said, boy she has a nice chop....makes me want to go get another coonhound. His wife looked up from her crocheting, shook her head and started crocheting again.

A GOOD BIT OF SNOW MELTED YESTERDAY. NOW WE HAVE LOTS OF MUD.!!!!!! AND WE HAVE OFF WHITE TILED FLOORS IN KITCHEN AND FRONT FOYER. NOT SURE WHICH IDIOT CHOSE THAT WHEN WE HAVE THREE KIDS AND THREE DOGS. ALWAYS MOPPING IT.

GOOD JOKE. MOST OF THE OLDER COON HUNTERS HERE THAT HUNTED WITH MY DAD HAVE PASSED AWAY. STILL SOME OF THE YOUNGER GUYS AROUND THAT HAVE QUIT. YOU CAN NOT EVEN GET THEM TO WALK ALONG. BUT I DO SEE A NEW TRUCK AND DOG BOX IN OUR AREA FROM TIME TO TIME. NO I HAVE NOT USED THE NEW SHOTGUN. THE LAST SEVERAL DAYS OF WATERFOWL I DID NOT GO. THE CANADAS WERE PAIRING UP AND AFTER SHOOTING A FEW, I SAW SEVERAL SWIMMING AROUND BY THEMSELVES, SO I JUST STOPPED. I HAVE ABOUT THREE POUNDS OF GOOSE JERKY LEFT. AND THERE ARE ABOUT EIGHT BREAST STILL IN FREEZER.

Dan, Glad ur back is better. Good luck with your secret call. Chuck just set 4 leg hold traps on Friday and Lynn and him brought home #9 yesterday. It weighed 51 lbs. Lynn wants one more for the coat. He told Chuck it's going to cost about $4,000. We had my coon coat made many yrs ago, I think it was around $1,000, but we gave the dealer our furs and $200.

Rob, my sister just put tile in her house. It looks like wood, but has some grey through it...looks really nice. We need to get something new on our floors, but house remodeling isn't my forte so it might be awhile.

One day three golfers were playing a round of golf. They were on the ninth hole near the highway getting ready to tee off. One of the golfers had his club in mid swing when he noticed a funeral procession coming up the highway. He lowered his club and took off his hat as he stood there reverently waiting for it to pass. The other two golfers followed suit and all three stood quietly until the last car was out of sight. The first golfer then made a beautiful drive right down the middle of the fairway. "You know Jack?" One of the other golfers said. "That was really nice the way you waited for that funeral procession to pass." Well I felt it was the least I could do." Jack responded. "After all she did give me 30 of the best years of her life."

LOL...never got into golfing. I have a cousin in SC that seems to live on golf courses. He can do that because he's still single.

I'm packing to go to KY to Road to the Horse. Bought my ticket months ago. I was going to call my friend and tell her I couldn't go because Chuck's mom had a stroke this afternoon and is in ICU, but he told me to go, there was nothing I could do for her. I told him, I knew that, but I wanted to stay for him, but he said he'd be fine. When we left the hospital tonight, I told her we'd go to the casino next wk, she liked that idea.

Thanks for the prayers, I talked to Chuck last night and they're suppose to take his mom out of ICU. She has swelling on the brain where the clot was, but that's normal. Hopefully, she'll be able to talk and move better when the swelling goes down. She can go into transitional care for 3 wks, but hoping she can go home before that.

I'm at my friend's getting ready to go to Road to the Horse in Lexington KY. Think she said it was about a 5 hr drive. My back hurts just thinking about it. Hers is about the same so we'll be stopping to take stretch breaks.

WHAT YEAR IS TRUCK..? I HAD A 1991 THAT WAS A STEP SIDE. IT RAN LIKE A SCALDED DAWG. I HAD A LOT OF WORK DONE TO IT AND LOUD PIPES. MY DAD SAID ITS A WONDER MY DOGS NEVER WENT DEAF. ONLY THING THAT EVER REALL OUT RUN IT WAS A MUSTANG GT AND HE COULD NOT GET AWAY FROM ME AND I COULD NOT GET PAST HIM. PROBABLY OVER 100. IF COPS WOULD HAVE SEEN US I WOULD STILL BE PAYING IT. LOL. SOLD MINE WHEN IT HAD 217,000 ON IT. GUY I KNOW BOUGHT IT AND IS STILL RUNNING IT. BUT ITS SLOWER NOW. MINE WAS RED.
