Rob, tell ur daughter Congrats from me. Glad to read her team did well over the wkend.
Dan W, r u still feeding all the cats? Too bad u weren't closer, if we get anymore beavers, I could give u one for them. Chuck left a carcass on the porch of the shed and said the cat(s) have ate most of it. He saved some for bobcat bait, but now since he saw how much our barncat and probably friends like it, he wants to save more. Since we were supposed to get so much snow, they pulled the beaver traps. Then we only got about an inch overnight and maybe a couple more today. But its so cold, they were freezing over with ice. Its suppose to warm up by the wkend so they'll get them reset until the end of the month.
I saw on FB that AppBlue is doing well with Willow and Catfish at the bench shows. His wife has been showing them.
Hope no one gets snowed in, looks like most of it missed us...YAY!

Lance had gun accident he.really don't know what.happed he.was.going to.shoot. crow next thing he.rembers is coming too laying on the ground he got up started to put his gun up and.thats when he.realized his left had was missing he is UVA medical center

It was in the 20's all day here, but the wind was ferocious! We took the dogs out for a run and ride. We drove down along Tionesta Crk and saw where otters had slid down and across the road. Saw some fisher tracks, too. Chuck started a notebook. His isn't a romantic one like the movie. He's keeping track of animals, he wants to trap. We tracked a bobcat for almost an hr on Sunday. Then we were almost back to the car and he saw where someone else had set a trap so he said he didn't think we'd trap there.

Rob, we came across Nebraska Bridge today. They opened it on Sunday. A fireman put on FB Saturday night, someone tried crossing it. They had a firetruck, rescue truck, and ambulance there; no one got hurt.

Dan, glad ur helping out the poor cats. Hate to see animals going hungry.

My daughter has had a stray dog hanging around her place, she's been feeding it. Last weekend the dog came inside with her dogs, sweetest thing looks like a fox. Well behaved & trained, most likely dumped no chip. They also were picked by a stray kitten last fall.

Settlement… Lawyer and the three kick rule

An Atlanta lawyer went duck hunting in rural Tennessee. He shot and dropped a bird, but it fell into a farmer's field on the other side of a fence. As the lawyer climbed over the fence, an elderly farmer drove up on his tractor and asked him what he was doing. The litigator responded, "I shot a duck and it fell in this field, and now I'm going in to retrieve it." The old farmer replied. "This is my property, and you are not coming over here." The indignant lawyer said, "I am one of the best trial attorneys in Georgia and, if you don't let me get that duck, I'll sue you and take everything you own."

The old farmer smiled and said, "Apparently, you don't know how we do things in Tennessee. We settle small disagreements like this with the Tennessee Three-Kick Rule." The lawyer asked, "What is the Tennessee Three-Kick Rule?" The Farmer replied. "Well, first I kick you three times and then you kick me three times, and so on, back and forth, until someone gives up."

The big-city attorney quickly thought about the proposed contest and decided that he could easily take the old codger. He agreed to abide by the local custom.

The old farmer slowly climbed down from the tractor and walked up to the city feller. His first kick to the shin had the lawyer hopping around on one foot when suddenly the farmer planted the toe of his heavy work boot into the lawyer's groin and dropped him to his knees. The barrister was flat on his belly when the farmer's third kick to a kidney nearly caused him to pass out. The lawyer summoned every bit of his will and managed to get to his feet and said, "Okay, you old coot now it's my turn."

The old farmer smiled and said, "Naw, I give up. You can have the duck."

Hay Corky, we can see blue sky today. Its supposed to warm up and rain tomorrow. Then by early next wk, lows in the teens again.

Hayseed, how's the new job going? Hope no regrets on changing. I'm a sucker for strays, too. We've been lucky that nothing has come around for a couple of yrs except maybe a couple of cats that stay hidden.

Funny joke, WB. Hope to get to a Blue Grass Festival over the wkend, maybe we'll hear some good ones there I can share.

SOMEONE DUMPED A KITTEN OFF NEAR MY MOMS, SHE KEPT HIM FOR A LOT OF YEARS. LAST YEAR THE I FOUND A PIT BOXER CROSS WHILE WORKING. REALLY NICE DOG. BRINDEL AND WHITE. THEY GUY I WORK WITH TOLD HIS INLAWS AND THEY TOOK HIM IN. HE HIT THE DOGGIE LOTTERY.

Rob i have kept a journal since i started coon hunting 62 years ago, it is in the book that sits on top of my shoulders its just hard to turn the pages sometime, one of my good ones Va. State hunt 1971--3 hour hunts back then, I won 7th place and high scoring bluetick and i still have the trophy, good ol days.--- hope everyone is well --- see ya

I HAVE A JOURNAL IN MY HEAD ALSO, BUT AFTER ALL THIS TIME IT GETS CLOUDY ONCE IN AWHILE. I REMEMBER THOSE 3 HOUR HUNTS. I ALSO HAVE A FEW TROPHIES FROM CERTAIN HUNTS THAT I WON. BUT MOST OF THE NITE HUNT AND SHOW TROPHIES I WON I GAVE BACK TO MY CLUB TO USE WHEN I MOVED INTO THE NEW HOUSE. IF I GO TO ONE NOW AND WIN I GIVE TROPHY BACK TO CLUB AND JUST TAKE THE PAPER. THE GOOD OLE DAYS. I ALSO REMEMBER WHEN THEY SAID THEY WERE CHANGING TO 2 HOUR HUNTS, SO YOU WOULD GET HOME SOONER. BUT THE DEADLINES ARE STILL LATE. SO I STILL GET HOME LATE. LOL. WE HAD ONE OLD GUY IN OUR CLUB WHO GUIDED. IT DID NOT MATTER WHEN THE DEADLINE FOR HUNT WAS UP HE WAS THE LAST GUY BACK TO CLUB. IT COULD HAVE BEEN 12 NOON THE NEXT DAY AND HE WAS LAST. I GUESS THEY STOPPED FOR BREAKFAST. LOL.
