THE HEAT IS ON

MY GIRLFRIEND FEMALE WAS GONE YESTERDAY MORNING WHEN I WENT TO LEAVE FOR WORK. FOUND HER HALF A MILE AWAY DOWN BEHIND MY HOUSE TREED WITH A COON ABOUT 9A.M. SHE HAD 8FT OF CHAIN AND WAS TANGLED AT THE TREE SHE WAS AT. SHE WAS LAYIN DOWN AND WOULD BARK 4 OR 5 TIMES EVERY FEW MINUTES. I HAD TO CARRY HER OUT. HAVE HAD HER IN THE BASEMENT WITH AN IV UNDER HER HIDE TO REHYDRATE. SHE HAS DRANK OVER A GALLON OF GATORADE AND TWICE THAT IN WATER. SHE IS FINALLY COMING AROUND SOME AS I WRITE THIS. SHE WOULD NOT HAVE SURVIVED ANOTHER HOUR. <v>

I was so happy to get my kennels & so posative I wasn't tyin any anymore that I gave away them condos. Got one up on the hill I'm allowin'ta slowly sink into the ground. kinda like a monument I guess.

I truly do not miss that escapin & chain draggin/snap wearin out. Happy you found her & getin'er takin care of!

GOTTA WORK WITH WHAT YA HAVE

ALL KENNELS WOULD BE NICE, ALTHOUGH, I'VE HAD A FEW THAT DID BETTER OUT ON A CHAIN THAN IN THE KENNEL. THE CHANCE OF ESCAPE DOES SUCK AND DRAGGIN A CHAIN CAN BE A DEATH WISH. OUR PLACE IS SURROUNDED BY CORN THIS YEAR, THE COONS COME POPPIN OUT INTO THE YARD AND BANG, THERE STANDS THE HOUNDS AND THE CHAIN STRESS TESTIN BEGINS.NEED A COUPLE TERRIERS ON THE LOOSE TO KEEP THE YARD TIDIED UP OF SAID CRITTER'S. IT WAS GOOD TO SEE ANTHONY OVER THE FOURTH. HE CAME WHEELIN IN ON HIS HARLEY, THOUGHT IS WAS MATT AT FIRST.
HE IS ALL GROWN UP LIKE THE REST AND MADE ME FEEL OLD.
WAS GLAD HE MADE IT DOWN AS I HAVEN'T SEEN HIM IN A COONS AGE. <v>

Yep,work with what ya got.Well aware of how that works. Just sayin I was happy to finally get my kennels I'd wanted for 30 years. Deffinately a place for the chainin up with some of'um no doubt.

Had two run off draggin ten foot chains they was draggin for exercize. I was absolutely amazed how far the cotton rock suckers got with them. They got treed & one was tangled up & not goin no where. Other came trippin across the bottom thru the molly colly,cross the creek to me. Bare footed into get my crazy "Tara" female. Thistles & nettles.... your aware of the gig. It was before this cookin of our country appeared.

They was a mile or so away. Now they drag 25 ft & at times with the long arm of the law upon them. Always one thats gota lead others a stray & "tara" seems'ta like tryin me & breakin the rules that-a-way.

No crops close to me just timber. A litter of fox raised under the bridge think their yarddawgs & been causin plenty of aggravation here. Coon to but them dang fox! I swear they come rite up to the kennels for a visit cuz they know their safe.

Didn't know Anthony was down there till last night but he's a big boy with his head screwed on rite. I think bein cooped in the hospital with me all day created the need to feel free...LOL!

Some day you'll hav'ta come hunt with "Bum" before he gets old,if ya wana I guess. Stay cool,this crap is unhealthy but it sounds like falls a comin next week.

Would really like'ta get a female outa "Oppy". Seems everyone I'm interested in for one reason or another slips thru my fingers.....
