Thought I would post this pic of Mabel she is doing good.

That's great man, she looks good!!! Post anytime, might be making that cross again.

Let me know if you do I know some people that would might be interested in 1 or 2 of them. They love the way Mabel hunts and they have talked about if I had pups out of her that they would want one.

I will let u know if I do. Not for sure yet but I have had people ask me if I was going to make the cross again.

Good hunt last nite!! First drop turned Deuce, Roxie & Dirty loose. Deuce & Roxie went about 500 yrd down a big creek & slammed a tree. Dirty barked there a couple if times & went on. "Should have stayed" let them 2 tree a while. Finally went to them, had 2 up a tree. Shot one out, snapped them up went to Dirty. On a den tree must have had the wrong end I guess but boy he is independent !!! Next drop cut Roxie by herself as she hasn't been out in a while. 15 min track coon in a poplar. Called it a nite, good enough for me. Just gotta keep Dirty in the woods & he's gonna be alright.

Had a pretty good night last night made 2 drops and saw 3 coons. On the 2nd drop Mabel split treed and had the meat. And yes I plan on putting her in some hunts.

Thanks for the kind words Coty!! I always liked ole Drip myself. I Had a nice female years ago that I had booked to breed to Drip & she got hit by a car on a hunt & was killed a month before she was due to come in heat. About 2 months later I found Deuce, he was 6 weeks old. Funny how things turn out sometimes!!!

Well I went and let Mabel out of the kennel last night to go hunting. When I walked back up to the truck where she was I noticed her face looked swollen. When I shined my light on her she had hives all over her and her face was swollen so bad her eyes was almost closed. So I called the vet and they was closed but it gave us another number to call. So we called it and told them what was going on and they told us to bring her in. When we got her there they took her back in a room and gave her some shots and gave us some med to give her. They told me she had a reaction to something but didn't know what caused it. We put her in the house with us all night and this morning she looks a lot better but she is still a little swollen. I don't know what caused it but I am so glad she is ok.
