bob hopefully we can have a pleasure hunt this fall with the pups
and will be able to see them tree some coon= hopefully mother nature will turn down the heat so we can get some more huntin on them.

STEVE= cant remember there full ped= here are some of the dogs in it
mighty blue jake=smokey river blue stormy= cheif 2= kirbys spike
old hugger= to tuff betty= coats lucy= amilings misty

they are chasing and treein on the net some at 9 weeks

QUEENS pups are gettin bigger every day= doin great

JOANIE= down to 5 pups from joanie 3 males 2 females

kelly and hunter shepards molly female had 4 males and 8 females out of ol boom= molly is r/c- jenny top and bottom
i have hunted with molly= she is a nice coondog= has 1st place win= they will have some females to sell

Terry, I put a 1st on a male friday night that's out of Boomer & Ruby. First hunt he's been in. He's a nice hound. Got off by himself twice with the coon.
The Thunder pup I bought at bluetick days is coming along nicely. Split the other night about 40 yards from the others with the coon. Planning on having him at Autumn Oaks.

I have to tell someone....

We, like most in the midwest, are in a drought situation. Shoot, step in a corn or bean field and dust poofs out. I haven't turned a dog loose in 9 weeks.... well.......
Jessie( Boomer and Ruby) is out of heat, but with temps in the upper 90's and heat index well over 100, I just haven't been hunting.. till tonite....
Hunted her alone.. first drop.. Turned Jess into a corn field and she starts winding from the edge, standing on her hind legs.. got into the woods about 50 yeards, struck and worked the track 300 yards or so, to a huge weeping willow 3 foot thick. Blew the top out of it.. couldn't find it in the deep woods, but she thought she was right.
Second drop, Jess strikes about 200 yards deep in a bean field and works it to a big brush pile. Locates and comes back to me. ( she won't stay at a hole)
Third drop, she strikes in deeper, in a cut over hay field. Works it through a swamp and into bigger timber. Grabs a tree and there sits the coon.
Called it a night on a good note. As tough as it is right now to tree a coon, I was so impressed. 20 months old and she never missed a beat.
I just had to tell someone. You all better get ya some of the Boomer blood... Sure glad I did.

Yeah, she's a littermate. Doing very well in the woods. Still has her bad nights or tracks as it is so dry here, but even when she does, she tries her best. And the best handling dog I have ever owned. Might put her in a few hunts while Zee is having her pups.

Baker it looks like you are from just down the road a piece from us. We are in LaFollette. I am on my way up to IL tomorrow to try Steebs Clone dog. I have an uncle that has a Boomer x Ruby dog here. We need to get together and go hunting sometime. I didn't realize there were so many of these dogs around here.

Dan Gunner is growing nicely. Been to hot to hunt him much. We have him loading good and does much better on the lead. Lord have mercy what a mouth on a dog.

Steeb I will be up about 7 tomorrow evening. Can't wait to hit the timber with Clone. You didn't tell me he loaded and was good on a lead. There are two more plus points for him. Your going to lighten my wallet some but I think your going to make my fall.

Terry it sounds like Ole Boom is really producing some great hounds. When you get a chance I would like to ask you some questions about breeding.

We did buy the Clone dog. We got him back to Tennessee this evening. Probably get him out tomorrow night and let him start getting used to these mountains.
