Main Street Mason Jar

Well guys Mace did it last night. I made two drops in two different spots. First drop he worked up a track and pushed it about 300 yds but lost it. We moved to the next spot. This place is ROUGH. Steep aint the word for it. I turned him up a holler and he went to the head of the holler and worked him up a track. He moved it to the top of the ridge and then struck in. I watched him on the GPS as he moved it to the very top and down a lead on the other side. We started easing that way when about half way up I could hear him blowin the top out. I kicked mountain goat gear and made it up to him. He was treed on an oak that me and the other boy couldnt get both our arms around. I stepped back and shined and there he was. I let my buddy shoot and about 3 shots in I said go easy on them shells. Two more shots and he was out and no coon yet. I had to go all the way back to the truck to get shells but I would have done it 10 more times to bring that coon down on Mace. He is coming on strong and Im lovin every minute of it. Will get a pic up soon.

P.S. Knock on wood, Mace has been deadly accurate so far. Out of 4 coon this week he has not slicked yet. Had the coon every time.
