Thanks to all that helped on swim pond.

We are now able to swim, I am working on floating coon this evening we will have a few trail runs soon. I am not even sure my dogs can swim.

It's all cleaned off now Gut,gonna rain more looks like,when it does dry up they'll work ya like ah rented mule.

We got another 1/2 inch more. Big Muddy River is way out of it's bank. We need a good two weeks of dry weather.

Coles County Coonhunters Buddy Hunt

at Charleston Ill same as always 7:00 pm $10.00 Anybody is welcome - all hound registered or not. This is like a UKC hunt but you combine scores of your buddy. Buddy will be drawn out on different cast. $5.00 per cast goes to club. Free Chilli Highest combined scores of buddies wins the pot. There are no seconds. Any kid particpating will get ribbon

When 4-27-2013 meeting at 6:00 pm

You don't have to be a member to particpate in hunt. This is meant for fun and teach new people rules. Any Questions will be handled by panel.

This is a 1 hour hunt.

Good luck on your hunt tonight Jeff. Hope you have lots of hunters and lots of youth hunters. That moon is full. Tomorrow night is the full moon according to the calendar. It is 47 degrees here now. Staying in till the water gets out of the bottoms. TD I am surprised that wooden bridge stood up to that much water running over it.

It was higher than that in 1957 It's an old cold riveted bridge it'll be here when we're all gone. They just put a new floor in it a few years ago. Our hunt won't be till this Saturday but thanks anyway. Suppose to get down to 34 here tonight.

The water is still out of it's banks but it is down a bunch from what it was. Make sure you don't pick up no crotch crickets at the tavern there Gut.
