Hello gang,
Was running by and thought I would drop by and say hey.
glad to see everyone is enjoying the lovely weather we are having. Haven't been hunting much so I could try to clear my bucket list of getting a bear. That did not happen so now time to get these two pups going an see if they have what it takes or not.

REVOLUTIONARY WAR SOLDER'S GRAVE

"Samuel Ferguson (1744-1825) and wife Mary Jameson (1746-1827) are buried nearby. Served in Montgomery Co. Va. militia at battles of Alamance and King's Mountain. An early settler on Bluestone Creek, he gave land for Tazewell Courthouse in 1772. In 1804 moved here to Kanawha Co., later Cabell, now Wayne. Progenitor of the area's extended Ferguson family".

The marker is located on Rt. 152 at the northern end of Wayne, WV.

R poor puppies...nothing sadder looking than a disappointed hound dog. Chuck came home from archery hunting and said it was nice out so as soon as supper was over we got the collars on the dogs and headed out the door to load them. It was raining and windy!! Coonhunt was called off. I don't think Dandy cared too much, but Ruby looked heartbroken.

I couldn't get the DVD player to work either, but the TV is ok. I don't understand why all this hi-tech crap is so hard to figure out. Life seemed awhole lot less stressful when we could only get 3 channels on a black n white TV 😀

Pttm08, what kind of pups do u have? Maybe you'll get a bear next yr. My husband whined for yrs because he was the only one in his family that hadn't got a bear. His dad had shot 3 and his brother, an uncle and a couple of cousins got them.....even his sister got one with her car!! In 1991, he finally got one, since then he's got 3 more. We have 3 rugs and a full mount of a cub..expensive hobby!

Darn truck wouldn't pass inspection without getting new rotors, pads, etc... Its a 2011, but only has 17,300 miles on it, thought it would pass easily....WRONG! 😞

LOL....WB! I've seen 100's of coons killed, but never tried to shoot one out of a tree because I knew r dogs would be thinking the same thing.

Thanks for the condolences, Corky. Her passing was a blessing. She had been in a home and had Alzhiemers for several yrs.

No freezing rain here, but lots of rain. Nebraska bridge is only about 3 miles from us, we cked it out on the way home from the Sportsmen's show. U can only c the very top of the bridge. There's a sign hanging down that has the clearance is 13'?" and u can't c it so I would guess the bridge has about 15' of water over it. I wanted Chuck to swim out through the parking lot and stand on the top so I could get a picture, but he didn't feel like it.

The Sportsmen's show wasn't much, but I sampled Cajun Alligator and Kangaroo jerky. The alligator was too spicy for me, the kangaroo was ok, but I decided to get a duck stick and a bottle of wine. Thought we'd have it tomorrow while we watch the Steeler game.

Rob, we still have last yrs fisher, my buck and bobcat from this yr at the taxidermist. I told Chuck, we have to quit getting everything mounted because were running out of room and $.

We went to several of the Sportmen's shows in Harrisburg yrs ago. Remember the last one we went to was in 83. I was pregnant and on the way home ordered clams. They went down ok, but didn't stay. Never had clams again and last time to the Show. Chuck did mention going this yr, but we've kicked it around before and weather or something comes up and we don't make it.
We're planning on going to the casino to a sportsmen's show in Feb. It costs $8 to get into, but if u go to Promotions with ur ticket, they give u $10 free play. I have a coupon for buy one get one free buffet so it will be our Valentine's thing.

Dandy and his littermates are a yr old today. I had bday cards made at Walmart and mailed them out yesterday to his mates. I got jerky treats too, hoping they'd be flat enough to put in the envelopes, but they weren't so now r dogs will have to eat ALL the treats 🐶

Rob, we only got a bobcat trapping. I was going to text u a picture of it and a bridge that's only a few miles away that gets flooded. I thought u said u inspected bridges and thought u might find Nebraska interesting. I must have deleted ur #, if u PM it to me, I'll text them.

Hayseed, Dan W and a few others haven't been on much...hope they're ok. Maybe busy watching 🏈

Dan I did carry the rifle and don't let Price fool you but he does have good connections one night some years back he was using a brand new fancy pistol we were in Fallen he was blasting away he ran out of ammo and called in a ammo drop
