Corey i been so busy i can't get out. I'm going to try tonight for a bit but i believe i'm going to be there saturday. I get a win on my dog and now i'm at a stale mate this starting to suck big time. As soon as i get these taking care of around here i'm going to hit it hard. I'm shootin for the RQE on the 28.

Nice night of hunting tonight. Walked to 2 trees with no light. Dang thing broke, cord has a short in the jack. Of course I tried to fix it and just trashed it totally.

WE HAD A GOOD HUNT LAST NIGHT OL HONEY SMOKED ONE IN ABOUT 4 MINUTES HAD TO GET UP EARLY SO JUST WENT FOR A DUMP. JASON TOOK HUTCH AND THE PUP FLASH OUT THEY BURNT ONE AND THE PUP TREED WITH HUTCH FOR ABOUT 25 MIN BEFORE STUFFY GOT THERE. COON SLIPPED OUT. I THINK LIL FLASH MIGHT MAKE A COONDOG HE'S OFF TO A GOOD START. BETTER GET OUT TONIGHT GONNA BE HOT AND HUMID NEXT WEEK. SEE YA JOE

Hunt

Stayed home played board games with the kids put them to bed.
About 11:30 I took two pups Flash and T-bone. Cut them loose T struck in the corn field. Both came treed a 1/2 mile away with the meat. If only they would have been somewhere they should of been instead they were in a smaller pasture with 8 Angus Bulls. Gentle as kittens they were,but I don't think the owner/rancher was as pleased. LOL

... Field of bulls... Hmmmm... how'd you get the dogs? I would have been too scared to go get them! Then again I'm such a city kid.... LOL I LOVE Angus bulls though. As a kid my father who was a VERY smart man, a surgeon in fact.... had NO commmon sense and was Awful at "investments".... he Invested in some Angus cows... and lost a ton of money. He also owned a part of a bull and lost money but DID fill the freezer with meat that spoiled me... it was GOOD. Being the brat I was I MADE my father take me to the farm in some state... could have been Canada? I forget... I wanted to Meet our cows! The place was gorgeous and so were the cows and bulls....but I wouldn't want my dogs treed in with the COWS let alone a bull or 2 or EIGHT!
Sounds like a good time though, despite the Bull! Have fun today if you guys go over to the BBCHA thing! Russ is taking the female he and I own as well as the Bum... so I'm a bit excited about the whole thing and wish I were out there. Good luck in the Hunt and Show if anyones competing! and HAVE FUN! I wish I could of made it too. I'm sure it will be a good time. You couldn't ask for a better night in July to go hunting. Weather is perfect. I know I sure enjoyed watching a football game even if it was ISU's stadium. Made it feel like fall. I can't wait.

Corey this is the female off Dutch and Duanes Sheba. Now whether she's just doing this because the older dogs did or what but looks good. Never barked on it but still she's smelling the wood. Great sign. This is her first time to the woods. Didn't hunt well but in time!

Your right we need to hunt them alot. The male is running loose at Scott Clarks. We are going to get him in a couple of weeks I think.

I went up to kents tonight and hunted. Had a bad hunt. Im hunting the male off Magnum and all he wants to do is smell the females! A male dogs always in heat, or the biggest part. The last 2 times there he has done that. Im about to let someone try to break him from that.

I will talk to you later. I know tomorrow night won't work now. Maybe Wed.

Sorry I forgot to call you back! 11:30 I just made it in the house. Cloee had t-ball then we tried to get a fifth wheel ball in the back of adams truck. We got about half done and I called it wuits for tonite. Probably finish it thursday nite. Hopefully go tomorow nite if everything works out.
