Thanks for coming up and hunting with rambler I know you guys had quite a drive! One thing for sure is that this cross will probably wear a mans boots out quickly because both of those two are not afraid to get in the dark! Hopefully we can get some little ramblers in west virginia!

Another CW!

Well Rambler was laid up Saturday & Sunday after a visit to the vet for a tore up face from a hunt in a swamp had his eyes about swelled shut. Doctored him up and busted him out tonite for a PKC hunt in New Phila and got another CW.

Ho Hum JJ! Like I said earlier, I'm more surprised when he doesn't win his cast. You, Tom, and that coon treeing machine, make a great team. I believe Rambler is one of the best I've been to the woods with! Good luck in the future with him.

I have my pup in the woods with me tonight and he is a go hunting sono***un. 3 drops so far and he's gone as soon as you unsnap him on every one...I can't wait until he puts it altogether!

Rambler rolled up 512.5+ tonite in a 1hr hunt at New Phila. Brings his monthly total to $330. Hopefully sneak into a truck ticket this month!

Thanks Jake! Rambler is throwin some lookers! Especially the pups out of powders litter! I haven't seen them all but the ones i have seen are about the best looking hounds I've seen in a long time!

I'm sure Dusty will find out if this little female has what it takes in the upcoming months

Those are some sharp pups trevor. I love that black color. That should be a great cross on your mouse female. If I didn't have two pups and a litter coming he would have maybe had to live here.

Hey Tom, yeah his voice is really starting to get deep now. I actually did a 100 yard drag through the woods and then cut him loose, he was treed for about 20 minutes without any praising or anything. I don't know if this is going to be his tree style or not but I kinda like it, will keep him out of trouble when he's hunting against the "ruff ones"...He's not afraid of the dark either, will be gone the second you cut him loose. I really like him, he's got looks, brains and obviously not a bad mouth on a 6 month old pup either. Will keep you posted...wd

PKC updated the standings and they show Rambler has moved up into the top five. I bring that up not because I think it is reflective of how good Rambler is, because it's not. He has been beat by better dogs many times!!! I do however think it is reflective of the time and effort JJ has put into him, and I appreciate it!!!!

Tom, I'm gonna disagree with you on the point you make on Ramblers state standings! He's there because he's a COONDOG,and I know, you know that too. For sure, you're not gonna blow him up at all, but I have no problem doing that for you! Over the past 30 years that I've been in and out of this sport, Rambler is one of the best I've hunted with, and I've had the privilage of hunting with a bunch of outstanding dogs! When Jake and I went down and hunted with JJ, ol` Rambler looked hard as a rock, so I know he's in shape.
Tom, it was a sight seeing all those Rambler x Powder pups together Sunday! Good gosh, what a bunch of beautiful hounds. Lets hope they can look that good in the woods!

Thank You Bruce, if Rambler is really one of the better dogs You have hunted with. That is saying something!!! That would be the greatest compliment he has received!!!

14 month old Rambler Pup

My tank pup out of Rambler and Holly has been in Indiana the last month. Up until that point I did very little with him. Picked him up today and took him out. He did some decent work tonite getting treed and is tree dog when he decides to let it loose!
