Just got off the phone with Asa 9am...He is pumped as he should be...Witch got out of pocket and treed a coon 1.7 miles deep in swamp...English men... time to get back together once again in support of this young man and his english hound Witch...I told him we are already proud of him and what he has done...Thanks Asa for what you have done for all of us................larry

FERRARI ENGLISH COONHOUNDS PUPS THAT WILL MAKE NT CH AND GR NT CH Folks below is a pedigree of some of the finest pups the breed can offer. S[size=12]adie won her first hunt every in with 525 + points and no minus. She has been in two other hunts but no coon was seen in the cast. She following her grandma Gr Nt Ch Northridge Timber Valley Queen and her great grandma Gr Nt Ch Gr Ch Timber Valley Lucky in winning her first hunt she was every in.
Sadie got lost in the shuffle her. I quit hunting the hunts because the fire was not there for me. However Sadie is one of the nicest dogs I have had here. She has a very good mouth, excellent strike dog and a stay put tree dog. Her mom is Nt Ch Timber Valley Annie who is a littermate to Gr Nt Ch Adkins Nt Thunder and Gr Nt Ch Wilcox All Grand Dan. She had around ten pups this morning. Thanks to Mike Rollings for hunting her and as always one of my best friends Larry Wilcox for his help. We will have pictures in the next few days.[size=12]
Why did I make this cross?
Because plain ans simple it will work....... Gun is barred none the nicest coonhound I every followed says Richard Johnson who has hunted for 66 years and who has placed second in the world hunt, won English Days severel times. placed in the ACHA WD hunt also.

Jerry Matlock's not one to brag on his dogs but I wanted to pass on some information about his young dog Hickory Hollow BoDiddley that is a littermate to your young BJ. Larry, ole Smoke is looking great and so is his brother Bawl, he treed a single Saturday night, it was our first night of kill season here, he had it by himself. Ran a nice race and left my other dog treed on a slick. Three days shy of eight months old. I would say that is pretty nice. I sent Randle Powell a couple of pic's of him on the wood and with the meat in his mouth. He said he would post them on here later this week. Not computer smart enough on this end to do that. LOL, I love this Gun X Lady pup. Good luck up there this Winter.

Travis, Love my Gun Smoke, Took Smoke,young female and daddy Gun...Ran hot track 400 yards Gun and Joy treed and smoke ran another 150 yards and split...(what a tree dog) second track 5/6 hundreds yards and got to tree and Smoke split again this time 50 feet away...did not see his coon but never missed a beat nor offered to go to his dad,,,,,And Bj will be in the hunts come spring (all tree dog) pull proof......No man should be this lucky......get me some photos//////// Larry

Hard work!

Paid off for you Mr.Larry, I so proud of what you accomplished for you and our breed. As our old dogs pass on, there's a new crop of great hounds that will replace them, and my friend your at the top of our breed that we loves so dear to our hearts, that we call English. Going to set the woods on fire with Sweet Tea and Mr.Jimmie this weekend about four nights in a row, Jewel, Pukin, sweet tea.will try and send you a pic. Or two of sweet tea doing great.

Terry, Thanks for the kind words...Hope for a good season with lots of work to do...You will love BJ now if you like a tree dog...Hope to get these litter mates together someday. Season starts monday here..We have been saving all our hunting spots for season.....Look out coons BJ,Smoke,Pete comming your way...ha ha and will have to save a few for Son Of A Gun after 1st of year....................Larry

LARRY, GYPSY IS REALLY LOOKING GOOD. OLE BO STRUCK A COON AND DROVE IT IN ABOUT 500 YARDS AND TREED IT AND SHE WAS OFF 500 YARDS TO THE LEFT. SHE CAME TREED ON THE TOP OF THE RIDGE AND STAYED THERE HAMMERING WHILE I SHOT BO'S COON OUT AND THEN I WENT IN AND GAVE HER ONE. LAST NIGHT SHE RAN AND TREED ONE WITH BO AND LATER THEY WERE SPLIT AGAIN WITH BOTH HAVING A COON. AT 12 MONTHS OLD AND ONLY A COUPLE WEEKS OF HUNTING SHE'S TREED ON 4 COON WITH BO AND SPLIT FROM HIM 10 TIMES. ONE WAS SLICK, ONE DEN, TWO BIG OAKS I DID'NT FIND AND 6 WITH COON IN THEM.
