I haven't got to hunt her the past 2 weeks cause I have been working 6 days a week and 12 hours a day. But we are done with the overtime now so I am going to get to start hunting her again.

I know what u mean my work has been crazy here lately as well. Haven't got to go as much as I would like to. Still working on the pup I call Dirty, which is out of the same cross as Mabel.

Crazy coons!!

So I get woke up last nite @ 3:30 dogs hammering, which I don't put up with. Get up grab a light & boots stomp down to the barn to bust some heads. Dirty pup is treeing every breath, yell @ him & he comes running out from the barn!! Go grab him walk around the corner & there lays a kitten coon all tore up he has killed!! Lol jumped the fence some how. 1st dog I have ever had do that here. So then I couldn't be to mad @ him. Put him up & carried the coon off. Now I got to figure out what to do about Houdini !!! Lol

Good to hear Jason. Dirty is sure good looking.Need to get him in some larger shows too.
Been hunting "Boo" as I can.Not near as much as I should.She is coming along though.
Hoping a good hide season will round her out.Very pleased with how quickly she started and her progress.
Good personality, nose,mouth, track speed,and desire to get treed.

Folks,As Jason knows I been hunting these dogs since the mid 1980's.There is a reason. Hunters need to check Deuce out .If you like the older blooded Uchtman dogs his pups should fill the bill.

Good to hear from you pat!! Thanks for the kind words about Dirty & Deuce & I'm glad to hear that Boo is coming along good for you!!

Just got in got the dogs put up & garbed me a beer!!! Cooler tonight but still not great hunting Deuce ran a track for about 20 min. With Dirty just opening a time or 2. Finally got treed & of corse it's the biggest tree in the whole bottom done my best to shine it from every angle but never could find him. Patted them on the head & called it a night. It will get better or @ least that's what I keep telling myself. Lol!!!

Had some pretty good hunts this week. Now the rain is moving in again!! Guess it don't matter the wife is out of town again this weekend for work & I gotta watch the little one. Oh well good times!!!!
