This past weekend.....

First, we'd like to congratulate Landon and Colton Goza on their wins at the Iowa State Youth Hunt! They won Best Male of Show with Skinner ( 7 month old Clyde X Rose pup), Champion Female with their NITECH Rose, and Grand Champion Female with GRCH Red Fever Annies Razor Girl "Maggie". Also, Scott Schmitt's daughter, Hannah, won Class and Breed with their Clyde pup, Lulu! And it sounds like the boys did very well in the hunt too......took 6th and 7th overall I believe!!! We'll have to watch out for these boys in the future!!

Back at the home front.....

Friday night Dan Brozek & Duke came over for a hunt. They made several drops with several different dogs & pups, and had a good time.

Hannah and LuLu won best of breed in Iowa youth show. She also won the LEMS light donated by Larry Marshall. She's all pumped up and ready to hit the woods with her new light now.

Aubrey & Ann,

Last night we took Rev out with Brodie and Cat. They all struck a track together then eventually went there separate ways. we ended up having 3 split trees! Rev took a track out and around a little patch of woods and brought it back in and nailed a tree! we didn't shine it too well cause he slammed the tree we watched a coon climb in 30 minutes prior so we knew it was once up there! he is coming along great and has an awesome mouth, can't wait to finish him out and get him in the hunts!!

Scott S....I missed your post before, that's a great pic of Hannah & Lulu! Looks like Hannah's all set to go to the woods now with her pink collar & lead, and her nice new light on the pink hat!

Alex & Josh, thanks for the update on Rev. Sounds like he's doing awesome. You guys will have to come back down sometime this fall & hunt with Aub again. Keep up the good work with him!
