Coles County Coon Hunters HTX

WHEN - 4-6-2013 Entry Fee $10.00 UKC Hunt Test

1 hour hunt - Beginners come and try it out, all questions will be answered , Chilli will be served. All members, outlaws and newcomers welcome. Kids Welcome.

Guides will be needed please.

The place where the truth is always told honestly, however it might be a bit stretched and bent, Wear Boots!!

HTX is a good way to test that young dog.

4-27-2013 Buddy Hunt- all hound only no papers needed - $10.00 fee $5.00 per cast goes to club Get a Buddy and come go. Buddy's combined score will put together and they will be in different casts. Combined score wins. Singles welcome to as others will need partners. We will make it work. Winners take all. UKC Rules - any argueing and you are scratched. This is not a ukc event. All are welcome, beginners and kids too!!

Gut we heard some nice soundin' hounds last night,was the winner that loud bawl mouth dog? And who found the big antlers ?nice rack.

TD the dog that won didn't have a real good mouth, but he was always by his self Austin is the won that found the rack he gave it to someone in cast. Don't know but bawl mouth dog was probably a Bone Collector dog.

We had our B&T Sec. last night. We had 13 in the Bench Show and 17 in the Hunt. Was not a bad night.

Gut there was a lot of treeing going on, that was a high scoring cast. Impressive . Deer head was very nice some poooor soul is still crying over loosing that one.

May 18 English Section at Coles County

See add in May magazine, Trophy's for 1st-3rd for Registered and Night Champions cast winners. We will have a Bench Show no trophy's for it though. Good Kitchen as always. UKC registered only. All breeds welcome. People and Dogs . Bring your Kids they can win also. Every Kid will get a participant ribbon. Just for coming.

Put us on your calendar, camping available just no water.

just got back from Springfield a couple hours ago...went up Sunday and spent the night.. had to go up to the lottery office..went by Scheels and picked up supplys ,got a couple boxs of 10 gauge turkey loads..2400 yyards of 20 pound test fishing line ..1400 rounds of 22 shells...did manage to go fishing fri....got 11 channel cat... heres my boy and his buddy up at Ron Millers bottom.........I caught 6 water dogs ..aka mud puppies..aka..hellbenders...
