I LIKE THE PIC OF THE COON IN THE HOLE. ESPECIALLY THE ONE WITH THE HUNTER PARTIALLY IN HOLE. BUT I WAS WONDERING IF IT HAD BEEN A GRINNER OR A PATIO CAT IN THE HOLE WOULD YOU HAVE POSTED THE PIC....????

ANY MORE GAME CAM PICS. MY CAM HAS MESSED UP. FOR SOME REASON THE FLASH IS NOT GOING OFF SO ANY NIGHT PICS ARE JUST BLACK. I RESET THE ENTIRE CAM YESTERDAY SO WE WILL SEE. IF NOT I WILL CALL WILDLIFE INNOVATIONS TO SEE IF THEY HAVE ANY IDEAS. I SUSPECT ITS BROKE...!!!!

Rob, that's great ur daughter's team did so well.

I was riding Belle on Tuesday, she decided to shake and fell down. I went off and landed mostly on my shoulder and knee...lucky for me it was soft ground. The vet thinks she has something wrong with her neck and told me to have a chiropractor look at her. I have one coming Wednesday. I probably need one, too; but went to the casino today and lost my $. I'll be getting my inversion table out tomorrow.

Took some aspirin and doing fine.
Must be coon hunting time....Ruby starts pacing and when we ignore her she starts face barking at us. She's always ready to go. Dandy doesn't care one way or the other. If we get up, he'll follow us to get his collars on.

My Daughter decided she was going hunting last night. 1st time she has been with us in about 4 months. She decided that after a 700yrds to a tree then back to the truck she would wait another 4 months to go again. LOL

Yesterday could have been worse....we took Chuck's parents out for lunch. I noticed his dad's eye looked odd.. When we got back to their house, I asked him about it and he said he didn't sleep the night before. Him and Chuck were talking about deer hunting, but after a fee minutes of watching him. I said to Chuck look at ur dad's face, its not right. Him and his mom both looked and thought he was fine, but I could tell the left side was drooped. I told him to go to the dr, but he laughed and said he was fine. As soon as we left, I called Chuck's sister. She went over and chkd on him and long story short, the 85 yr old GOAT wouldn't go to the hospital until 4 out of 5 of his children nagged him. No stroke, he has Bell's Palsy. From what I read, I would not be the least bit surprised he has Lyme's.

Then hunting last night, both dogs acted like they had caught up with something on the ground. One on one end of the field and one almost 200yds away in the middle. By the time we got close, they juoutv ame to us. Have no clue what happened...thinking maybe bear. Went to another place and they took off separate directions again 😞 Ruby treed and Dandy was going towards the rd. I went after Ruby and took her out to Chuck and Dandy. She took off and treed again and Dandy went a different way of course. So I went after Ruby and Chuck went after Dandy. Never saw a coon...too many leaves and/or maybe r dogs r big liars!

I WAS AWAY OVER THE WEEKEND. MY WIFE BOUGHT AND SURPRISED ME WITH WEST VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY FOOTBALL TICKETS FOR LAST SAT NIGHT. WE TAILGATED WITH MY SON AND HIS FRIENDS WHO GO TO SCHOOL THERE. WE HAD GREAT SEATS AND WVU THUMPED KANSAS.

A few pics of some bucks. Pay no attention to dates on the bottom of pic, my camera is not dating correctly or taking pics at night. All I get is a black screen. Called wildlife innovations they could not tell me why. I guess I need a new one.

The first ever Sr/youth hunt they had in PA, I almost got shot in the head....just missed by seconds!! I was reading a horse magazine. I has mistakenly plugged in an empty electric tea pot instead of my roaster. When it got hot, it smelled like something burning so I got up to see what was burning...Thank u guardian angel! I only walked about 15' to the kitchen and unplugged the kettle, when I did I heard a pop. Then I plugged the roaster in and the lights blinked. I walked into the dining room and heard shots and about the same time saw a hole in the wall. I had left the cordless phone downstairs so I ran down the steps to call the PSP. On the way down, I could see plaster on the steps. As soon as I got off the phone with the PSP, I got in the car and took off looking for the shooter. I found a guy and his son walking out of the field above and across the rd from r house. The 13 yo boy had shot 7 shots at a running deer, but not towards my house. I came home and the officer was in the house looking for me. He found the first bullet at the bottom of the stairs. He picked it up and laid a pen down in its place. When we got to the top of the stairs, we were looking at the walls...(the bullet went through the outside wall, and also, through 2 walls on the stairs (split entry) and hit a stud in the far wall and fell on the floor) and our terrier beagle pup came up the steps with the pen in her mouth! I asked the officer if he was going to arrest her for tampering with evidence ☺ Then we had to walk through the living room to get to the dining room, I noticed the cover on the recliner where I had been reading was sticking up, when I went to fix it, I could see the bullet went through the top of my chair!!! That's when I FREAKED!!! After the officer left. I found another bullet hole in the basement so he had to come back and ck it out. It was the 13 yo that did it. The case was turned over to the game commission and they confiscated the rifle and did a ballistics test on it.
