Had an old bad track Saturday night, walked almost 3 miles just to find that track. She trees it in a big white oak full of grapevines. Decent sized boat. Brought him out for the young dogs. I haven't talked to Scott lately myself. I'm going to be writing an article for the bloodline magazine every month featuring small clubs. If anyone would like their club features sent me a PM or text or call me. I wanna see us small timers get more recognition. Hope everyone is having a blessed day.

Finally off that early early morning shift & now bouncing all over all the shifts.

Last Saturday one of the guys stopped at the store & asked what time I got off. When I answered 7 he asked if Mark needed help showing, then I remembered the show & hunt were scheduled that night. So a quick inner chat with the kitchen manager I told him my schedule changed, I was off whenever I felt like it. Got home about 5:30 really surprised the old man.

Little Lucy wasn't happy being around the loud barking dogs & noise. She was a handful on the bench, still won her class & breed so she has 50 points now. Grace was solid won her class but lost breed to Lucy.

The Walker pup is too young to show but she is growing like a weed. She's venturing out further & further everyday, starting to follow the blue girls on their hunting runs, figuring out the corn fields & all the gates & fences in the corrals.

Haven't been out to harvest any coons but great pictures from everyone.

This is Lucy after she came home from the show, seems we can't take a dog to the club without some new battle wound.

WV, good luck with ur articles...looking forward to reading them. I just subscribed to COONHOUND BLOODLINES in September. We don't belong to a club. The nearest (to compete at) is in Pittsfield and that's almost an hr drive. Venango Co Coon and Fox Hound is closer, but we went there to a Bluegrass Festival and asked why they don't have anything for coonhounds; a man said because all the guys that did that died 😞; It looks like it was probably a nice place in its day. This yr, we attended shows or hunts in PA at: Putneyville, Mahaffey, Bruin, Pittsfield, Greenville and Meadville and Sinclairville, NY. Enjoyed ourselves at all of them, even when we didn't win ...and they have some pretty good cooks, too.

Weather is nasty here today, I spent most of the day at the casino (2 days in a row!) Brought home a little of what I gave them yesterday.
Probably won't take the dogs out tonight. We had them to the honey hole Tuesday and last night. They treed separately about the same time around 100 yds apart on Tuesday and treed together last night. We haven't seen a coon for awhile, but know there's a mom and babies over there.

Nice looking dogs there wbond. First coon hounds I owned were redbones. They hold a special place in my heart.

Rob, not sure if you heard yet. Lady fell out of a tree last night, about 20 feet up Joe estimates, she didn't make it. Hard to swallow with how well she did this year. Only needed one more win to make grand, she got all 4 wins towards grand this year plus making the top 100. Really makes me wanna push this pup hard since he's a grandson to her.

Had lunch with a couple of friends today. Afterwards we went to the ones house to play with her 6 wk old aussiedoodles. She has 3 sold for over $600!! I didn't have any problem selling my Redbones for 1/2 that, but I'd probably still have them all if I asked that. I don't get it.

IT WAS A BUSY WEEK END HERE. MY YOUNGEST HAD A HALLOWEEN PARTY SATURDAY NIGHT. THERE WERE 17 TEENAGE GIRLS HERE. I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE. THEN ON SATURDAY HER SOCCER TEAM WAS PLAYING IN THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME FOR HER LEAGUE. THEY WON THE LEAGUE ALL YEAR AND THEN THE CHAMPIONSHIP. THE TWO TEAMS WHO PLAYED HAD PLAYED FOUR TIMES THIS YEAR, THEY EACH ONE ONE IN REGULAR SEASON, TIED ONCE AND THEN THE FINAL. BETWEEN THE TWO THEY HAD FIVE GOALS SCORED IN FOUR GAMES. I SEE A LOT OF HIGH SCHOOL BATTLES WITH THESE TWO MIDDLE SCHOOL TEAMS.

Sorry the Dodge deal didn't work out, Dan W. Good luck in muzzle loader season. We had some nice bucks around here, but haven't got pictures of them for over a month. Chuck saw a 10 pt cross the rd about 1/2 mile from here. Thought it might have been the one we were seeing. There are usually at least 3 trucks parked in the area he saw it...so it must cross the rd slot there.

Took Luwee, r rat terrier riding with me today. Rode Jas 4 hrs, saw 2 doe and a tail.

Didnt do so good at myersdale. First night woulda been better but what messed me up was catfish got hung up in a electric fence. Ended up havin to call a first and first on him just so i could go in and get him out of it. So that was a 225 minus right there that costed me the cw i believe. Second night i withdrew cause another guys walker dog ran 3/4 of a mile and 3 mountains over away before it treed. And it was a quiet mouthed dog and it was windy. So the first drop was nothin but chasin this dam walker around away from the other dogs. I wasent doin that another drop. Called my dog in and signed out. Cant stand those kinda dogs.
