hunted slammer and lonesome III the last 2 nights, and couldn't be happier with them slammer made 2 trees with coons last night and turned him loose tonight for a short drop and they went in and treed with a coon!!im hoping to get all them quirks worked out of these hounds soon

SLAMMER AND LONESOME III Ran a track 900 yards tonight to end up empty but it is what it is, I see progress everyday with the 3 dog and I like that!!!im not sure on the guys that tree coon everynight and never have a slick tree or any negatives on their hunts,but maybe I take care of that for everyone lord knows I get my share of bad luckl LOL

I hunted slammer and III dog again tonight they treed in a cedar and couldn't find it then moved and never stuck on a tree? people wonder why started dogs are expensive? im thinking these young hounds wear on the patience!!! but love it!! we got the miley female bred to lonesome II tonight and its a cross that will be interesting!! lots of old blood and she has the looks and mouth of a hound!!real nice tree dog

hunted lonesome and roxy last night they treed a few with the weger hounds and the last tree they were split and we was met by a man with a pistol!! im still writing so guess he didn't shoot!! lol

brandon burt brought the daiasy dog down for a couple days.we hunted her ,lonesome and the 3 dog treed a couple coons then turned slammer loose with them and the night ended with nothing moving to good I think the freeze and thaw is rough on the hounds

I just want to say the last couple days have been nice getting to spend it with a great friend!! thankyou Brandon for taking time and the money to travel down to spend time with us and the hounds!! I had a great time lots of laughs and am humbled to have people actually come and hunt with me!!! the daisy dog is an awful nice female that is gonna make her mark in the breed.you have done an amzing job with her.we took her ,lonesome II, lonesome 3 and slammer I think we figured a ? den a slick then 3 coon a den then another coon.wasnt the best night but remember its not always about the numbers and more about the friendship and the fellowship!!! WE SERVE A MIGHTY GREAT GOD!!!

Sorry ole blue dogs of mine hit it a lick tonight. Noting to brag on but I’ve had worse nights. Got a little female out of Fleek’s Hoss dog and our Snow gyp that will stumble on a sick coon now and again. I sure enjoy getting out and trying to rustle Up ole Ricky. My good friend Harry’s Walker gyp found a couple of these sick woodlot coon to slip underneath tonight. I sure enjoy these beautiful nights and these hounds, regardless of beeed, color, or strain!

I went to Kentucky to meet micheal yesterday to swuitch out hounds. im excited to see what our cash dog will look like when he settles in he was quick to get treed last night then was every where at once. we seen a couple dens but no coons. lonesome never even struck after the 1st tree, not sure if it was the storms that had rolled through or all the wind but it was a rough night!!!!

hunted the 3 dog and cash 1st drop 3 went deep and come back around to cash they fell treed and when I got close they left it and acted totally lost so we went to another spot and dropped cash out and of course he had to see who was boss and he bout won! after a little convincing he went about 500 yrds to a woods ran a track and treed like nothing even happened!! all I can say is WOW!!!!!!!

Danny Sheridan and I got out later last night to run hounds. I ran buster and cash he ran his pup out of will II and shotzi. I think we ran a lot of non climbers for a bit. hit a button a couple times and cash got treed in a den. we caught the other 2 and moved we then cut lonesome and cash and his pup and again they all chimed in. on a hot track but never treed it lonesome split out of the area and at .67 sat down. cash sat down at 789, we didn't find a coon in the cash tree so walked to lonesome and he had his!! it seems like its been a little rougher here lately but lonesome seems to pull them out most nights.

I got to get out Wednesday night and hunted cash solo he didn't have a crazy streak in him got out and struck but couldn't move it came in and we moved, he got struck and treed very quickly but couldn't find the meat and the wind and thunder was rolling in. wind continued thru Thursday night so I didn't get out till last night.Got to hunt with Robbie and the B.J. pup he is progressing quite well!! we cut him,Cash and Buster buster and all 3 struck then buster located and treed but left went in another 300 located again and they parked on a big cedar which we couldn't find so recut tyhemm and they went 490 and parked on a big den. we then moved and I cut lonesome and cash. Drove 1 in 580 to a den, recut and they went another 560 and treed with the coon!!! great nights to come3

NOT BRAGGING BY ANY MEANS BUT LONESOME WAS BACK AT IT WITH 2 FOR 2 IN 45 MINUTES TOTAL WOODS TIME.THIS SURE MAKES IT NICE WITRH THE TIME CHANGE!!! CASH LOOKED FAIR TONIGHT. TREED REALLY NICE ON THE 2ND COON WITH LONESOME.HE IS SETTLING IN REAL NICE HERE. AND THE PROGRESS ON ROBBIES LONESOME II X ALLIE PUP IS REALLY MOVING FORWARD ALSO

not so good!!! out of the box hot race and bam cash and lonesome with the meat!! scratch the pot lickers and sendem home had me a grinner. sure lets me know they are just dogs,hadnt seen lonesome under 1 in close to 2 years but had to show his ass!!!but then they split 250 yards apart lonesome had a den and cash had a coon with robbies b.j. pup.Lonesome was split through the country 586 yards and had a pair of coons.so glad its Monday and not Wednesday in the nationals!!!I guess we will keep plugging on.

Stay on them Buddy. Last week ole Goose went 1.33 miles, deep and alone. Had to walk the whole way to him and he was on a oak that was slick but a big greasy possum was sitting about 3 trees over up a small leaning pine. Ole Goose was trying to be slick. He has treed 3 since I have had him here. At least Lonesome treed him close!! LOL

At least were honest Darrin. Lol. I hunted cash last night and was very very pleased!!!! No craziness,just strictly business he went in 480 struck worked it back 160 from me fell treed and couldnt find it.I took him to another spot and cut him,he struck quick and drove it 374 yrds and treed great!! I had about given up finding the coon,when I found it laying flat on a big ole limb. It lives to run again!! Tonight Lonesome & I travel to flora for the pkc nationals.
