Like to thank all you guys that are hunting Blue John pups. We are getting nothing but great reports from every litter. There are a bunch of 4, 5 ,6 and 7 monrth old pups our there right now off him that are already running and treeing coon and can give plenty references on how easy and early his pups are starting. You guys should realy take a look at what he is reproducing off of all different lines of English females when choosing a stud for your good females.

Sounds Like BlueJohn Pups Are Easy Early Starters!!!
[QUOTE] by Bill Porter
Morning Bobby. it's been awhile, thought i'd fill you in on the progress of these pups are making out of BlueJohn and My Sugar female.
I had about as much fun last night as a man can stand with one female pup I kept! She struck ahead of Sugar in standing corn and they had a good race all over that cornfield and brought it out of there and treed at the far end. When I got there that pup was treeing as hard as a dog can. I'm still buzzin about that. I've got another female that's the same way and my nephew has a male littermate that is really coming on.
They just turned six months and all three will go the whole way and be there treeing when you get there!
Nothing short of Amazing!(QUOTE)

GOT TO SEE THEM ON 4 DIFFERENT BEAR RACES 2 OF THEM TREED AND 2 WOULDNT CLIMB. THEY WERE TREEING THERE HEARTS OUT ON THE 2 THAT TREED AND RIGHT THERE ON BOTH THE OTHER 2 RIGHT TO THE END AND ONE WAS A LONG HARD BATTLE. NOT BAD FOR 7 MONTH OLD PUPS.

Blue John x East TN Sugar pup...
Bobby, my pup off the Blue John x East TN Sugar cross (Richard's Blue John Henry) treed his 1st coon in the wild by his self last night. He's never been shown a live coon in a cage plus never hunted on buckets. On the next turn out he cold trailed another coon over 900 yards right by him self but couldn't decide on which tree he was up. It was getting late so I went in after him and me and another gentleman I was hunting with saw the coon sitting up right in the vicinity where the pup seemed to bog down on the track . He has so far shown the beginnings of making a dog that can tree coons here where I hunt and that isn't always an easy task. So far so good. I am sure pleased with his progress in a short time of hunting. Donald Miller and I got 3 pups off this cross. One has been in on some bear hunts and by the video I saw he is sure looking like a tree dog! The other female hasn't been hunted just yet but should be soon. I'll keep you updated on his progress! Thanks, Richard Norris.

Bobby ....... We spoke this summer about my Tamarack Bend Belle female . She is out of Blue John and Crowe's Black Creek Diamond Lucy . I can't say enough good things about this dog . Goes deep ....Big bawl and squall male mouth ..... always off by herself and is super accurate ..... a hard tree dog ..... and a beautiful dog as well . Only thing she can't do is poop ice cream . I would say another home run for John . Good luck with him as time goes on .

Me and Mr. Paul Crowe that raised and bred Lucy are good friends and hunt together a lot. He kept a female off the same litter. She got lot of those same qualities. Always been real gamey, go huntin good and don't care what another dog's doin. He picked up another female off that litter a boy had that hadn't been fooled with much and she same way. Think the boy that wound up with her is really pleased with the way she comin along. Bobby, Paul said you may remember when they come to breed Lucy. Said somethin about a headlock in the snow.
It sure was cold that day. Glad to hear the cross with John and Lucy produced hard hunting, independent hounds. Keep me posted on them and thanks for hunting a Blue John pup.

Bring that special female to John! About every pup in every cross starts easy and early and the older ones are becoming winners. Several already titled and even more with wins. 2 in the top 5 of the pkc breed race. Most of all there's several sure enough coon dogs that can't be bought. Out of the 180 pups he has sired more than half are under a year old. Only 30 to 40 between 2 and 3 and he has 15 pups either titled or only like a win to be titled. Most of you know what a reproduced Johns mother ( Kays Red Lady )was with almost 70% of her pups being hunt winners. Looks like he has that same reproducing trait.. Thanks for looking in on us.

Blue John pups
I really like what I have seen out of the cross I made they are doing great! John is for sure bred to reproduce. I mean Hoss has offered a lot to the breed as far as flat out Coon tree ers I seen them first hand and Hoss was tough everytime I seen him go. And Lady has done her fair share of great pups as well. So you pretty much couldn’t expect any less from John he’s from a coondog to coondog cross!! Blue John will continue to help our breed grow the same way his parents have!!
