I'm going to show you how many wins all your SEC teams have over NCAA tourney teams.

Let's start with Arkansas, a sure lock for NCAA tourney. Arkansas has one win over a possible tourney team in SMU. They have also beat UGA which will probably make the tourney. So a SEC sure lock has 2 wins over NCAA bound teams. How sad

Let's move on to Tennessee. They also have wins over 2 NCAA tourney teams in Butler and Arkansas. Again 2 wins over NCAA teams, how pitiful.

Georgia has one win over a possible bubble team and it came from your terrible conference in Ole Miss. That's right UGA deserves a tourney spot right but haven't beaten a single tourney lock.

Ole Miss also has zero wins out of confefence over NCAA tourney teams and 1 win over Arkansas in conference.

These are the 4 teams that are locks according to analysts. So lelet's review. 4 teams have a grand total of 2 wins against teams going to the NCAA tourney.

Is it that 6 wins? And you want to talk bad about the sec but you don't want to count kys wins? Yes it makes it look a lot better on paper for you if you just use select teams from the conference.

I just crack up when SEC fans claim they deserve 5-6 teams in the tourney. I don't have any kind of agenda other then showing that the SEC is horrible. It's like calling Gonzaga the second best team in the country, Well Nova has beat countless teams going to the NCAA tourney yet they are ranked behind Gonzaga when Gonzaga has beaten one?

UK hasn't lost a game because the level of teams they play in their conference. I'm not saying they aren't a top team but the SEC this year just flat sucks. No difference then Gonzaga only losing one game based on the conference they are in.

I don't remember reading anywhere that someone said they deserved 5-6. They said they will be 5-6. UK hasn't lost a game because no one has been able to beet them. I'm not really a sec fan, just.a UK fan. But thanks for wasting ur time and doing all that research to make a list to support ur opinion. Glad our education system is working.

Myself id like to see a smaller double elimination style tournament. I think gonzaga is a little over rated, but what do I know.

The reason a couple things are happening, more teams are going from the SEC this year because they have embarrass the selection committee the last couple years, 3 teams in last year... 1, 8 and 10 seeds then go 12 wins and 3 loses . The other conferences just don't compare.

The reason villinova is not ranked higher is because for so many years they have gave them a high ranking and a high seed, then they don't even make the sweet sixteen, they were just not as good as the east coast writers blew them up to be. Who knows ? They may really be decent this year.

I will agree with you. They really had 2 years in a row where they were flops in the tourney. Last Year I thought tthis were good they just had a tough draw and ran into UCONN early. This year I think they are great maybe the best.

U know rankings and seeds don't really matter as long as u can do enough to get selected for tourney. Every year there is teams that " over achieve" and make good runs. It the heart and will to win of a team that really matters. Look at last year, UK was a 10-11 loss team starting 5 freshman and uconn. They proved
a lot people wrong.

Look at the stat line for Nova tonight. They dismantled Seton Hall. This makes them 40-1 when scoring 70 points or more. Nova has 7 to 8 players that score 6 points or more. 7 guys can hit 3s at any moment and they all defend with great intensity.

Great game between WVU and KU, great win for WVU. The Ellis bunny miss at the end was hard to watch. Road wins in the Big 12 are hard to come by. Ku is still in place to win the conference(not puking Texas), but a home loss could change that.

West Virginia plays that swarming defense but I truly believe they give up more easy baskets then they cause turnovers. They give up so many lay ups but WV needed that win so secure a spot in the tourney. They just have no offense and only one good shooter.

Hoosier man wvu does give up way to many easy shots and gets into foul trouble really bad. They have good players but not a true shooter

How about those cats? 5-21 on 3s impressive. I will add this it's impressive that Kentucky can shoot that bad and still win games. Over UKs last 5 games they are somewhere around 20% from 3s. I'll say it again you can't hide in the SEC much longer. This Tennessee team is an embarrassment to basketball. How the hell they beat Butler I'll never know, but Butler would murder them if they played now. Butler has got so much better and Tennessee has totally fell appart.

It's looking more and more like the SEC will get 2 NCAA bids. UGA wet the bed against South Carolina at home. If you lose to South Carolina you should impose a self ban on yourself and not play in any kind of post season.
