Took Bounce and Hog and coons were far and in-between. First dump right at a mile and they hit so we drove the UTV around and had to cheat on Highway to get there but saved a ton of walking. Got there and they had one on a small tree along a log road. Second dump they made a circle about 250 yards and just rolled up and treed, had a den and it was being used!Third dump they hit about 175 yards and took it right at 850 yards and had one along a little ditch by the next county road so only had to walk about 75 yards, not too bad! Hog I feel is running a track as good as any pup we have ever had but not nailing the trees like I want, some he does and some a little slow. Hog will be 10 months old at the end of them month so we have a little time yet.

Took Hog and Bounce and tonight and I was please with the hunt that was cut short due Hog getting a large cut to his ear and bleeding like a stuck hog! LOL! First dump Hog hit about 200 yards and just a couple minutes later Bounce charmed in. Hog treed and Bounce backed him and they had one. Made a second dump along the River and Hog and Bounce got in there about 500 plus yards and hit a hot tack and caught it on the ground. Time we loaded Up and got up there Hog was a bloody mess, one big old bore! Rushed back to the truck due his ear squirting blood and found the blood stopper we had in the truck, finally got it stopped. Hog made me really proud tonight, the pup can really drive a track!

Eddie he is not much a kill dog but for 9 months old he stayed in there until the end, he now has some real character / battle scrars to his head and ears. Hog has made it past the 9 month old cut off so time will tell now!

Man what I guy can see one here. I have one for some of you. I will use my self for and example, bought a 00000 that was a Silver Champion and is close now to a Gold Champion now. Was in the top of the State races 3 or 4 years, had a truck ticket and made it to the final 4 and is still winning. So some would ask what is wrong then, first thing is won't babble until it hits the timber and barks to it is treed and I would say the other hounds really strike and tree 95% of the coons for 00000 but then again it is a top of the line second dog. Hunted the dog three nights with the leafs off and made one den tree and 16 slick trees. Was ready to put 00000 down when a previous owner ask if we would sell it. I did and for the price I have sold a Blue 10 month old pup for. This was on of the poorest choices on a hound I have ever made but it did make me appreciate a Blue dog. We may not win every hunt, have numerous handlers for them, hit every hunt every night there is one and we do work for a living and last but not least no sugar daddy. Some cut down the guys on here but have nothing and mean nothing of their own to talk about. Yes I have hunted several breeds but like and hound that is trash free, does not babble, trees real coons, comes when called even across a river with hounds tearing a tree down and one that walks out of the woods with out a leash. When we get old we are also a little easy to please I guess. There is many good Blue Studs out there along with good Blue men, just a few spoiled children to take care of once in a while! LOL!

The cross of GRNTCHGRCH PR Super Blue Riptide X GRNITECH 'PR' Williams Blue Hollow Zoey HTX was made yesterday so time will tell. It was not a easy task to say the least but we had some pretty good help, she acted as if she was getting violated!! Due date on this litter is June 23rd!

Max the last we heard from Steve was that he had booked and had deposits on all he was going to take. Steve I think is keeping a female and two are coming my way. You can never have enough young ones about 6 months to a year difference as we all know they don't all cut the mustard and need a new project to start on! I have only kept a couple hounds in my life as long as I have Riptide, it is so nice to have one that is BROKE and one that MINDS. Pups watch and learn a few things from the old boy, if not I do a little more training! LOL!

Took Riptide and Hog last night and had a sorry night. First drop they got in there about 700 plus yards and came out on an old farm road and we picked them up. Second drop they went about 450 yards and struck and went to about 600 yards and treed and had one on the outside. Made one more drop by a slew and we just dropped Hog. Hog struck about 175 yards and moved it pretty good right at 525 but got in some pretty wet and rough stuff. He did hit up pretty hard once but never did roll it over, ended up catching him as it was already 12:30 and 3:30 rolls around real quick! Hog is doing pretty nice on the hunting and tracking but just needs nail the trees a little quicker, hits up nice but like to check to long. Maybe a little age will help but it better than barking up every bush in the woods.

We took Grand Nite Champion Zoey tonight by herself and made four drops and made three trees, two with coons and one den. Did a real nice job for an older out of shape Bitch. Zoey is currently breed to Riptide.

Max on all three trees last night she never moved from the stop she was on when we got there. She was straight up and down until we left the trees. First night of hunting her up here but she did look good doing it! Taking Riptide and Hog with her this week as we are trying to get her in half ass shape! You here a lot good and bad about hounds but I feel seeing is believing!

Steve and Dee sent us a picture from early this morning, Dancer had her pups and as of right now there are (7) and all (7) are still alive and doing well and pups are big and healthy acting. Have not looked at them yet so not sure what the mix is. Steve and Dee will do that in the upcoming days.

Brian we took Zoey and Riptide last night. First dump they hit red hot and ran it about 750 to 800 yards and treed in an old barn. I called them and Riptide was back in a flash and we loaded him up. Zoey went on! Zoey hit another one about 200 yards father south and treed real quick and had one. Next dump Riptide Struck at about 700 yards and Zoey put in with him in a few minutes. They both split treed and both had one, Zoey on a small tree and Riptide a very large tree about 40 yards futher, squalled and one ran down the tree and bailed out and off to the races once again, ran about 400 yards and holed up in the creek bank, called them and both came to us. I had a feeling there would not be any me tooing with these two! LOL! Trying to get them hunted up a little before Bluetick days later this month so there is not much time.

Thanks Max! We are trying to hunt Zoey up a little and let a few she what she is like. Zoey does not have to blow out of the country to get treed and once treed she will stay and will hold pressure and has something when she trees! It seems Brian did a pretty good Job with this old gal for a several years and just trying to get her back in shape before her due date and hope she took. Believe me she is well worthy of breeding, remember the old saying seeing is believing? Taking Hog with her tonight if weather permits. If not we will get them out tomorrow night. I believe Hog will hook up with her just fine, I think pups do better with females anyhow, we will see! LOL!
