I think I know the rumor and I can tell you that it is not as you heard it. Everything is great. Matter of fact it is better than great. We sold out by 4pm today and I will be there untill 11 in the morning selling for a vendor that I have.

Talking

Finally broke down and bought a sunfire at oaks after I was given an offer I coulsnt refuse. Wow this light is awesome..I love my sunspot but the sunfire is a total different light. I won't own another light unless it says sunspot on it. Thanks Michael!

Had a little mishap with a used sunfire and wanna thank Michael for telling me there was an issue with the used one i purchased. I was fortunate enough to get my money back from the used one and went and bought a brand new one from Michael. Great guy and the light is very nice. My only complaint is the lens covers dont wanna snap into the pop cover and also wish the pop covers fit the head a little tighter

No problem Jason, the lenses will snap in just push harder. It will not break. I went over to the dealer you got the used one from and got it. They didn't know it was not as bright as it should be. I'm taking it home to fix it and send it back. They are a competitor not one of my dealers, but I don't want one out there not functioning correctly.

The rumor that Larry was asking about is that Sunspot lights has been sold. It has not. Dean Miller purchased the rights to be the sole dealer for Indiana, Ohio and Michigan. Any one in those three states can still contact me to purchase your light and I will take care of you but the light will be shipped from Dean. You can contact Dean at 330-763-4463. Thanks and a big thank you for everyone that made our trip to AO very successful.

I have got to use my sunfire for a few nights now since AO.

All I have to say is wow..with this light it is either there or it isn't!

As long as this man is making lights it is all I will use here in the hills of WV!

Used mine 4 times so far without charging and still just as bright as day one. Love how it dims down for walking and shining leafy trees but will light one up like no other when u need the brightness

Thats great Jason. I tell everyone that all batteries only have so many charges in them. If you have a light be it a sunspot product or any other light. Use the burn time. Keep in mind that lights that use lithium batteries do not dim enough for most people to notice. So find a safe number of nights ( I suggest 5-6 nights for the sun fire ) and only charge it then. It will make the batteries last a lot longer.

I would like to introduce the new Sunfire from Sunspot Lights. My costumers asked for something built as well as the Sunspot but with a tighter spot. Well here it is:

It uses an aluminum head, with excellent heat sinking.
It has a 4 position click switch
The Low is a usable low good for walking.
Burn Times are:
1st click 140 hours
2nd click 80 hours
3rd click 35 hours
4th click is 3.5 hours and is a blinding 50,000 lux
That’s right 50,000 lux I don’t know of any other coon hunting light on the market with that high of a Lux reading. That is not a spot light.
The spot is about the same size of a traditional 5100 head.
It comes with the standard Sunspot warrantee of 2 full years and life time labor.
It weighs 25 oz and is as balanced as you can find. It weighs the same on the front as it does the back.
Price is $280.

Here is a video of it. I'm standing about 50 yards from this tree. There is a ambient light around the beam that the camera only really picks up on high.

Just click on the pics to play

This is a pine tree line about 60 yards away.

It would be $115 shipped to your door. It includes the light, a red, green, and white led modules. Two rechargeable batteries ( it only uses 1 at a time) the charger. The mounting bracket and a tactical switch.

Does anyone make a frosted pop cover for the Sunfire? I have to say this light smokes every light I have put it up against. I have a 375 lumen spot light and the sunfire makes it look like a kids toy. If you can't find it with this light it AINT there plain and simple. I'm tellin ya Ray Charles could find one with this light. If you haven't seen one check them out they turn the night into day.

Sunfire light

I was told by a friend, that if I bought a sunfire my other cap light would be behind the seat of my truck for a spare. He was right,I have not used it since, and I will not use it other then an emergency. My step son hunts a little with me, and wears the other brand.he asked me the other night"why do I have to use the kids light".Great service, outstanding light, none better!

I'll have to admit I cant believe it lasted this long. When I got it back to put a click switch on it for you I had never seen a light that had been put through the ringer like that one. call me and I will get you a new one or fix that one
