At the local level quite a few around here don’t know at the higher level we don’t have many if any down here. It’s all good if they wait their minute but most can’t wait 10 seconds.

Just line them all up they all start barking tell them guess we are going to split the strike or the first one strikes under the minute I am minusing you. We ain’t having a calling contest off the snap.

Lol. I have said many times, some folks just can not accept the truth. Dalton told how it was done INTENTIONAL and a lot are made in similar fashion by accident. It is something that CAN and SHOULD be stopped, I WILL NOT ATOLERATE it in any of my dogs. A man can win his share of hunts with an honest dog that trees coon accurately, at least I always did. Dave

The way Dalton tells it, Cheyene couldn't stand it either.

I think the most interesting thing in Dalton's post was that Deamon was a better dog when he wasn't a babbling dog.

This is a question for some more experienced trainers, I've got a dog that will sometimes babble when hitting the woods for the first cut but doesnt do it consistently, I dont want him to, what are the best ways to break him of that?

I don’t think he’s babbling. Just happy to be cut loose.
