Congrats on the huge win team Tammy & Nitetime! it’s not easy doin that!!! I couldn’t be more proud of yalls team!

As for G-Man, it’d be a good cross & we’ve talked about it several times before!, he also won reserve SS CH right in your back yard B&Ttreed 2017 & had to get dna tester after the late round, if you ever made it that far you’d know 😉

Sonny she was a decent pup before she went up there. Went huntin good here, just wouldn’t tree very much but you might want to look at her dam as well, G has never been scratched for not huntin, but Caroline on the other end is as moody as they come & all her owners will tell you that.

Maybe if some of you guys would research a dogs pedigree & go hunt with them you’d know more about them! Anyone else that wants to talk $*** can put your $ where your mouth is & go hunt against him or watch him go solo!

You’re right Tony, I should have done more research on her. I just bought her on your word and she never treed her own coon here in ohio. She would hunt out some but not good. And was scared of everything from day one. You and I have talked about it and it’s over, no use beating a dead horse.

Lol everyone running down the red dog ..... Just a question ... What about all the power she beat throughout the hunt. If these beaten dogs were much at all it would seem a little kick or questionable call would be easy to still beat a so so hound. I see it as one of two possibilities ....1. Most are just jealous 2. It was a conspiracy and all are in on it sharing the check..... I wouldn't rule out either in the Coondog world of today!!!

I never said anything bad about Tammy or her owners, handlers or her run at that hunt. I figure she is a good one.

I assume Gman is a good hound also. After all I paid good money for a young dog off him trying to get some of it. I think u got a little sensitive Tmack.

Guess I should of said most everyone.... As far as good ones that's all in the individual ... I doubt what I want exists but know what I'll settle for and its getting harder and harder to find something to settle for....

I wonder if Big Country had a "Ghost handler " helping him leave those trees?

Says a lot about all these primo hounds handlers and breeding programs!!!

Posted by yadkintar on 03-21-2019 03:12 PM:

All you got to have to win are these things !!

1. A dog that will get struck and treed even if there ain't a coon for ten miles.

2. Enough money to run to the hunts .

3. Enough money if you loose you can still keep going to hunts.

4. Absolutely know every angle in plan B style hunts.

5. Have a good camera man to show your antics after the hunt at the hoochy bar.

Sometimes stuff just happens. Could it be that coon just weren’t moving good in the earlier rounds. Nobody is going to go out and tree coon after coon every night of the year. People will always find the negative. If you don’t like the rules of any certain organizations hunts don’t participate. Winning like that doesn’t happen all that often. Those are the breaks and when hunting multiple rounds night after night you’ve got to take them when u can.

I wouldn't expect to see scores of 5-600 or more there consistently but to me a good dog should score a coon or two most every cast and hold it most cast. I know they can make a mistake but mistakes being their strong point don't impress me much but i'm not gonna be buying the dog or any pups from any of them or care to hunt with them so its all good. Its been long enough haven't seen any blowup on Facebook check must of cleared so its all good.

You ever think maybe the ole boys might have found anouther way to win say you got a dog that will babble and go get treed on somthing somewhere and you know an ole boy has a coon treeing honest dog. Just take him where there are no coons your dog wins by babbling and making circle slicks.

Dat who gets da money.

Look at the scores at some of these hunts and ............. Oh Say it Isent so !

I know there quite a few good coondogs in that hunt that didn't get in coons !
