Jesse,
The UKC World, the $HKC World (just held in Aurora Ky), & the $KC World held in Illinois in the Fall are all Elimination format.
In the UKC World, you can buy back in (enter multiple RQE's) to get qualified. This ends up being 4-5 rounds, depending on your score in the semi-final round.
In the $HKC World, you can buy back in (enter multiple nights) to get qualified for the quarter finals. This ends up being 4 rounds. The Elite Truck Shootouts, the World Series, & several others are also elimination format, some may only be 3 rounds.
In $KC you can buy back in (enter multiple nights) to get qualified for the quarter finals. Not as familiar with this KC, but this is a least 4 rounds as well. There are other hunts, Nationals, SS, etc. that are elimination as well, at least 3 rounds or better.
You are correct in talking about the 1 night $KC events, many times a cast win earns you the right to split. Not a true elimination unless the Final Four hunt it off, & then it is only two rounds.
I'm sure all areas are different, but I know in the area I am in, you will draw a high caliber level of dogs at the $HKC, & $KC hunts. Same goes (even more so) for the caliber level of dogs you will draw at the aforementioned World Elimination Hunts.
Not looking to stir any pot or add urine to any contests. All I can say is seeing is believing. What little I have been fortunate enough to see has made me a believer, no more, no less.

This is pretty spot on. Only thing IMO the competition is a whole lot tougher in the other registries.

I would say these 3 females are the right kind
Barker Creek Rain-----O: Johnny Yoder
RTO's Sally Again-----O: Perry Ross
Smithlake Bluewater Diamond-------O: Gilreath or Kelley
Buzzard Wing Hoot------O: Shane Reynolds
These dogs are from the top 10 in the breed in pkc. The first 3 of these are the 3 in the breed race from 2016.
Gr Nt Ch Tucker's Blue Joleen
Cory Carlson and I own Joleen. She has a pretty good "motor" on her. More important to us is the go she put in her pups. Jet 10 (Jet 9 x Joleen) was absolutely the hardest going dog with or with out company I have seen of all breeds. Ron Taylor's Gr Nt Ch Timm's Blue Schotzi is also from the same cross of 9 and Joleen.
Joleen's sister is the Alice female. I understand she is reproducing too. Perhaps someone can weigh in on her and her pups' motor.
Nice to have people talking about females and their contribution. Each individual cross has to be measured on its own merit. Results vary. Having said that-We would all benefit from everyone placing as much importance on the females as has long been done with the males.
Food for thought-if you say your dog will hunt out for 30 minutes. Unless that dog is hunting in a circle, chances are you can cut that time in half, because half that hunting time was spent coming back in to the truck.
Well put cwbluebio
I have really enjoyed this thread and everyone input I believe with some of us bluetickers working together we will see more blue's in the winning sircle

i own a male off alice. i hunted him alone the other night and he hunted out the hollow i cut him in which was about 600 yds wide n deep in just minutes. loaded him up and off to the next hollow. that hollow he stuck at over a 1000 yds after covering plenty of ground fast.

She will fly on a track and tree em close if need be, but if they aren't moving you better switch your frog legs out for some tr's (tennis shoes) cause she will get through the country and get treed and be there til you get there.
