cabins, Cl. Rv. Diamond Jim is already in my dogs three generation pedigree. I am surgically AI a Double Runnin Bullet gyp that I purchased to Cl. Rv. Diamond Jim in hopes of getting a nice male so that I can breed all my potlicking females. Of course, Smokey Rive Diamond Jim is very prominent in the breeding of my dogs.

im sure you enjoy them. glad u have old jim up close. I was goods friends with warren and had bought a great female off him named meadowoods blue Jodi.

I had the pleasure of breeding bill brates smokey river rambler female (Katie ) to Meadowoods blue ace and that produced meadowoods blue major one of the most powerful track n tree dogs I'd ever seen go.

matt turner had Ellis blue jim collected, dna'd and certified and has it stored. Ellis blue jim was performance as well.

DIRECT son of Jim, Dna and performance nominated

Here is a 3 generation of my Ellis Blue Jim. He was born in may 1980.
Smokey River Bl.Diam.Jim was born in 1968. This old Blood has been very good to me. Been very instrumental in the hounds I hunt today.

I was a lucky young man when I had Jim collected.My dad give me a hard time for spending the money which he said was for my family. I had other ideals and my family survived.

Legend - Motor, nose, mouth, tracking ability, layup ability. He has consistently thrown big motors from different females.

Hank - Tracking ability, nose, and I love the way he's bred. Nicest pup to date out of my female came from a male bred similar to him. Hank's bottom side is actually better than the other dogs was so in my mind could throw an even nicer pup. Just my line of thought.

Ace - Motor, tracking ability, he's probably won as many or more casts than any living bluetick today and he is located only 2 hours from me.

I haven't been lucky enough to hunt with any of these hounds in their prime but, I have spoken with several about all three dogs that I trust. I think any of these three would compliment my female very nicely. Should be hard going super track dogs that are very accurate with plenty of independence. If I HAD to say there was a front runner right now it is probably Legend. Something about the thought of that cross just feels right but, you never know.

First off I don't think you could go wrong with any of the ones mentioned but here is another one that is as you described you're looking for. Cody will be by himself the majority of the time he leaves like a rocket when you cut him and next time you see him you will be getting him off a tree somewhere he's quick on both ends and a very nice treedog! Cody was a Dual Grand and had about 1200$ won in $KC by a year old Cody also made it pretty far in the U.K.C World Hunt around the same time Cody also finished in the top 16 of the A.C.H.A World Hunt a year or so ago in Tn with 3 or 4 cast wins and every coon we scored he was by himself. Cody has never really been promoted and hasn't been pushed in a few years. If I can be any help or need anymore info give me a call

That's some impressive stuff! Is there any semen collected on him and does he have many pups on the ground? How old is he and where is he located?

As far as I know he has never been collected but I'm working on that. And as far as pups he hasn't been bred to very much because alot of people don't know about him. But I have had 2 off of him. First one was off of him and my dual grand female and she was running treeing on her own by 10 months old and had kidney failure and died the other own was mossy oak slim and he was a decent dog but he just wasnt cutting it here in the TN mtns and i sold him back to Ronald Kight in GA. Cody is 8 I believe he is 1 year younger than colt. And he is Located in Vidalia GA

IMO and experience, breed to something that hunts in similar terrain as what you hunt in.

Check out the Bo Diddly dog in Oklahoma. I'm sure there's plenty of references on him. I'm not saying he's the best but I fill the dog has proven himself. Just needs a chance in the stud pen.

5 hr track at minimum
Run it not going over the same place twice
Open up . not tight
Locate. Check tree
Have meat 95% or better
Not many have these traits but a couple still exist

Mailes Rattler is showing up as a reproduced. Rattler has potential to reproduce outstanding track dogs. Bob & Rebel were better track dogs and Cory would tell you both better coon dogs. Both have been on the reproduces list. Rebel by leaps and bounds caught many more raccoon on the ground. Rebel was hunted leaps and bounds more in farm country and Bob was hunted in the hills. Rattler has proven he can do his part in reproducing a hound that competes at a high level of competition. I believe Cory may be getting Rattler collected. I do have Rebel semen that I would consider using on the right gyp for a couple pups. I still have plans on using it on Irene. Irene is from a cross off Bob. I'm glad to see Rattler getting the recognition he deserved. Bob & Rebel took away some of Rattlers glory.
