What happened to the Trump and the Republican Party thread? I was away like 2 days and came back and it was gone. That thread was around 12 pages at the time and had some good stuff on it.

How do you figure? If your going to unfairly and without merit, accuse, name an example.

A. I've never called posters names or made personal or malicious attacks. Unless you count things like calling Richard a hippie on other threads, that's obviously joking around and none of them got axed.

B. No topic that I've been interested in that disappeared was gone after I made a post that I'm aware of, instead it was gone later on.

C. No moderator has ever emailed or PM'd me with any kind of a warning. And following the posting rules, I'm wouldn't know why they would've had a reason to.

Now have things I've said made somebody mad and they responded with a post later on that got it axed? I don't know, can't tell, topics are gone. But that would be like blaming obesity on the fork or spoon.

This reasoning makes me laugh even among news contributors. Everybody acts like we're entering uncharted territory.

Good grief, does nobody bother to study history? These rules have only been in place since the civil war era. Many times where nobody's had the majority and it goes to a vote.

Trump or Cruz are the only 2 that will likely have the voters support going in. To avoid a contested election, 1 of them needs to get to 1237.

That said if Trump would be at 1100 and Cruz at 500 for example, it would be unwise for anything but a Trump outcome. But if it's anywhere close, then they both need to work to get it over the finish line.

I'm a stickler for facts. First off I'm not a Jorge Ramos fan, I think he's pushy and routinely biased.

That said he's not an illegal immigrant. He came here legally as a student years ago. Worked in the news caster field for years and became a U.S. citizen going through the proper channels.

He's interviewed a lot of influential world leaders both foreign and domestic. Whether I disagree with him or not, as a U.S. citizen that's been in the news business for decades, I'd say he's as qualified as anybody to debate American politics.

I watched that interview. He had some points, and also had things I didn't agree with.

Meagan set him straight on any point she didn't agree with.

Okay gotcha. My apologies. Glad you cleared that up, I didn't mean to call you out but thought you were talking about Jorge. He makes a person aggravated enough sometimes you would like to say he's illegal and send him back. Lol.

I understand your reasoning. But whether he is quailfied or not is debatable... He is a dual citizen and constantly shows he's biased. He supports illegal immigration 100%.... He has no business debating American politics because he can not be unbiased. He constantly condemns America's immigration laws, but supports Mexico's immigration policies. Mexico immigration laws are tougher than ours.

I wont argue that a bit. I'd say he's qualified in debating American politics in general and is intelligent and knowledgeable on a lot of issues. But when it comes to immigration he's VERY biased.

One thing about it, when I see him it's on shows like O'Reilly or Meagan Kelly. Those are 2 anchors that don't get pushed around real easy. They don't let him get too carried away with any nonsense.
