quote:Call an ask my daddy about his pension with big O in charge right now. I dont know who's decision it is but Im pretty sure it has nothing to do with a party. His union is cutting his pension 50% in July. Crap aint right. Why aint big O bailing them out? They the unions helped put him in there. He bailed out GM. Id rather have my guns myself. Course Im not in a union andI dont plan on ever seeing the SS Ive paid into my whole life. I know it would hurt lots of folks but it would suit me if it folded now and let me handle my own money the rest of my working days.

Obama care is a joke! My cousin was trying to get on it(he and his wife) it was $650 per month with a $10,000 deductible. That's worse than having none at all and a slap in the face. He's also a die hard dem too I might add. My wife carries our fam insurance through the teachers union and the very day Obama care went into affect it cost us nearly double a month. So anybody that thinks obama care is a gift from heaven is bad bad wrong
In case u haven't noticed half of Obama care Co-ops have failed, tells you how well it works.

And unless I misunderstand about the comment above, military support yes, but not support for life. If that was directed at taking care of our military just not for life, that is a slap in the face. There are only two other profensions that come close to being as dangerous those are our law enforcement and firefighters.

Many leading Democrats in Washington these days like to point to the fact that the federal budget was balanced for part of the time that President Bill Clinton was in office. What they do not mention is that those balanced budgets occurred only when Republicans controlled both houses of Congress.
In fact, according to the historical data published by the Office of Management and Budget in the Obama White House, no Congress in which the Democrats controlled both the House and Senate has balanced the federal budget since fiscal 1969--more than 40 years ago.
More recently, the federal budget was balanced in fiscal years 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2001. A Republican-controlled Congress approved the appropriations for each one of those years and Democratic President Bill Clinton signed them.
The President does nothing more than sign or veto a budget. It's up to congress to bring the budget forward. The last balanced budget was while Clinton was President, but he opposed it. If it weren't for Newt Gingrich and the Republican Congress, he would have been negative too.
In the latter part of the Clinton administration after the Conservative Congress led by Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich brought in a Conservative Common Sense approach to budgeting and managed to get the Welfare Reform Law past (despite Clinton vetoing it three times).

my apologies, thats why I hate emails sometimes. On that note I too do not like the career welfare individuals. Welfare was a good thought just too many people that misuse it.

Yes he balanced the budget after Newt Gingerich shut down the government twice to get a balance budget.
Maybe I am wrong but I think that was pretty good for everyone.
Didn't Pres Obama get us ObamaCare which guarantees everyone affordable health care?
Yes he got us Obamacare, NO it is not affordable to working families, if you don't work it is given to you but you can't afford to pay for the deductibles.
I don't know what cave you live in Richard, but you really need to get out of that lame stream media cave. Come on out to the real world!! Now lets talk about these rights that you talk about, and give some perspective to those rights.
I know that these rights are not "guaranteed" by the constitution but I think that they are pretty important....
The right to affordable health care
Ok the right you have to affordable health care is important. Let's talk about these rights. If we had this right then the government would have opened State lines so you could buy your health insurance in any State no matter what State you live in. Just like you do your car insurance. today to buy liability insurance on your car is the same price as it was 25yrs. ago. Back then standard coverage was 25,000/50,000 today it is 100,000/300,000. so today you are getting about 5 times the coverage for the same price you got it 25yrs. ago. Wouldn't you like to pay the same for health insurance that you paid 25yrs. ago for 5 times the coverage today? Why didn't the government open State lines for health insurance so insurance companies would need to make deals to get customers instead of having a Monopoly. Why haven't They?? Because the Democrats blocked it every time.. Yes you have a right to Affordable health insurance but the Democrats made sure you don't have that right!!
The right to affordable housing
Yes you should have a right to affordable housing. Though since the government has taken down practical loan barriers and safe guards and the non working people get there rent paid by the government using the money from people that are working. Housing has sky rocketed home owning or renting. So now the working family can't make enough to know what a savings account is to put away for a house as the rent eats up their income!! Who did that and passed that law?? Democrats and so now more people live in poverty because housing is to expensive..
The right to a decent wage
The right to decent employment
Yes that is your right, but it is hard to make decent wage or find decent employment. Why is that because the government has fined and over regulated the country from emissions control/ global warming to climate change/ air quality/ equal pay/ to higher taxes for anyone that creates jobs. So all these steel mills, Maytag, to any other good paying jobs have shut down and moved over seas or out of the country and have been replaced by the low pay of Walmart, Costco, and fast food restaurants retail pay instead of detail pay. Oh my that is bad who did that in the government?? DEMOCRATS!!!!!! Yes we have a right to decent wages and decent employment if the Democrats would quit taking away those rights....

Bill Clinton didn't balance the budget the republican house did.As a grown man I don't need some crooked Union to do crap for me.I am responsible for myself. The unions are full of corruption and take advantage of workers.Quit paying Union dues and spend that money on your families. As far as political parties go they both are corrupt.I've worked beside Union workers a lot and I wouldn't hire any of them. JMOFWIW
If you do not think Dems are after your guns, just listen to what they are saying today!
