hoosier man he is surely improving and learning to run harder tracks and push them. I've had pretty good luck with young dogs. I mean I had a 6 month old place at a ukc purina points event and he was a bluetick (before I switched to walkers) also placed at babystakes and some other big hunts before a year old. The last three I've raised have all treed coon at were split treeing between 6-8 months old. Some times I just like to see what other peoples opinions are when a issue comes up because I can always learn something new. But surely you can't listen to everyone who gives you advice on here because some of it is just plain crazy!!! I believe I drew you and the ike dog at the pkc spring classic a few years back he did a nice job. enjoyed hunting with you

I remember that I enjoyed hunting with you also. If you have young dogs split treeing under a year old keep doing what your doing because it is working.
