I'm sure he would hunt far enough for me. Do you know the city the Tennessee State Hunt is in? I don't keep up with the hunts much anymore and don't know where they hold it.

Rutledge I believe. Called couple Plott friends and asked about where it was. Somewhere in the north-east I think. They said it was rough and steep.

Heck! Surprised u even answered. Lost connection as usual w/my old I-phone and did not get it back til later......duh-huh! Did go to Tn state at least Friday but when over was miserably soaked and went on home. Never saw coon but was surprised at good territory I hunted in but rain all night made it miserable.

Rush @ the Grand American

We'll be at the Grand American tomorrow and Saturday with Rush. Jerry Lee will be handling Rush both nights. Hope we can make a fair showing for the Leopard breed. Hope to see you there.

Here's a shot of Rush up on the side of Dixon Cove treed up a big persimmon (looked up more of 'em this year than ever before). This one was still loaded with persimmons, but more importantly it was loaded with an ol' he coon eating his last meal. Were running about 66% on our persimmon trees this year. Not too bad.

congrats on high scoring leopard at gr American....u said he looked good and that is all u can ask for. luck plays an important part in the hunts sometimes. and often that den tree can kill ya. keep on cause like I have said... every dog has their day(or night in rush's case)

Winter Classic

Had big plans for the Winter Classic. Had Rush entered both nights but won't be able to make it. Got a relative that is in poor health and needs my help. Rush and I will have to wait for a better day. Hope all the Leopards hunting in the Winter Classic do well.
