Well that doesn't make any sense at all. You'd rather watch a pitcher strike out standing there with the bat on their shoulder rather than watch someone put the ball in play. No wonder....that's probably because it reminds you of how you used to be at the plate.

braves aint going to get swept by the bluejays this series,freddie hit one a country mile lol.i dont like the d h,i rather watch a low scoreing game any day them high scoreing games remind me of mens slow pitch softball.lol

You that feller is probably going to say that was when he was young and dumb. lol. Braves are just awful right now. Its hard to understand how you can get a lead like they have, and just blow it. They say the Mets are going to be really good all year. I guess we'll see just how good tonight when they get the Yankees. My guess is the streak will stop.

well the mets streak ended but the braves streak didnt. freddie freemen dont seem hisself this year,maybe because hes knows this team aint so hot.lol

Yankees are really a surprise, but then a strong tradition dies hard, and then they are the Yankees. Braves? They should fire John Hart and Freddie no manager for the travisity they call a ball team. They traded everything to build for another year. The only year that ever counts is the one you are in now. Fans like championships, and they don't have playoffs for last place. I hate it, but they really are a very bad team right now, and they have no leadership to right the fall.

i agree robert who ever heard of a team that traded there decent players for worse players and all the time knowing what there getting. freddie couldnt lead a pack of hungry wolfs to raw meat and john hart wouldnt know talent if it hit him on top of the head.i guess the only bright spot in the lineup is that simmions is not strikeing out as much and makeing contact with the ball it looks to me like hes cut down on his swing and takeing the outside pitch the other way.his swing reminds me of hank aarons by the way he uses his hands alot,but he dont have the same kind of power. well we are of to washington to play the nats,our only hope is that the nats keep playing as bad as we are.lol

I may have been right in saying the Braves will be a lucky team to win 50 games. I just can't understand how you jump out to a lead, and blow it almost every time. Very very poor leadership, and no emotion. No one cares if they win or not. You can see it in their faces. I bet if their salaries were cut to level of play, they might win a few more? Nationals will likely break out of their slump and sweep the lowly braves, but then why are we calling them braves? I can't see anything brave about them.

The real joke is the Braves. They should fire every pitcher who threw in game, and ole Freddie for being stupid again. That was the biggest joke in baseball. An 8 run lead in major league baseball and you don't win? come on. A little league team can do better. Lets not stop at Freddie either. Get John Hart who was the major player in the give away the team structure. Why would anyone build a new stadium for this bunch of nothing?

haha bond,the braves pay uggla more then any player they have then he comes backs and helps beat them what a bunch of hog wash.i know how ole melvin can finally break out of his two year slump,just let him face the braves and his long drought will be history. i knew john hart wasnt worth his salt when he traded craig kimbrel,there they got one of the best relief pitchers ever in his prime, and what does mr.hart do? trade him for a bunch of guys that aint never been any good and aint ever going to be any good,smart move john hart.well lets look on the bright side,i aint but 2 hours from fonda-turner field and i bet i can get some good tickets by just showing up at the gate.i never seen so many blue seats,i told my wife tonight that i never knew they had blue seats there.reminds me when i went and watch them play in the early 70s, they were playing the astros and only 900 fans showed up,every time the ball hit the bat it would echol all over the staduim.lol

Not sure about weaving a web Wendell, but I am sure the Nationals scored 26 runs in two games against a Braves pitching staff that looks very bad at best. It won't be a very long time before the Nationals and Braves swap spots at the bottom of the standings in the NL East. Atlanta is just a pitiful excuse for a baseball team right now. There is no other way to say it. I do know they wouldn't want to have to play their own farm clubs on a regular basis either. This franchise is diving fast, and the clubs President seems to care less either. Lets throw away the next two seasons and work on a team when we get a new stadium built. Dumbest thing I ever heard of. Have they not thought that there may not be any fans a the new stadium? Did they not hear how quite it was in Baltimore yesterday? Of course that was for a different reason, and not because the O's suck so bad that no one wanted to go see them play.

I'm not hating on Soria right now. I've missed the last few games but he has started out pretty good this year in my opinion. I like having him as the closer right now.

It's a long season everyone. 162 games. Teams get hot...teams get cold. Can't nobody say it's over for their team (Braves) and can't nobody say they've got it locked (Linkous Royals). Some days you win, some days you lose and some days it rains (quote from Bull Durham, lol)

I agree the season is long, and going to get a lot longer for the Braves. They were as hot as they will ever be the first week of the season. If they stop right now, freeze the standings, they will finish much better than if they play the whole season. They could very easily lose 100 games this year, even 110 is not a bad bet. They are terrible and there is absolutely no emotion on this beaten bunch of excuses. 26 runs in 2 games makes the Nationals look like supermen. They may be, when compared to the Braves bunch. It will not change until the top management decides that Freddie needs to go and gives him the heave hoe. A tradition of contendership has been flushed down the toilet. Maybe someone could convince Booby to come back and teach Freddie when to pull a starter who is done? Yep....it is a long season indeed.....especially if you pull for the Braves. I guess we can always watch tennis in place of them. Both is nothing. I can not believe I bought the package to get this kind joke on TV. Heck the comedy channels was free.

Now you know the Braves are in big trouble. They give up back to back homers to the 8th and 9th spot in the order last night. YEP! That's right, the pitcher hits one on them. Ole Freddie is a genious in knowing how long a pitcher should go.
