Mad dog blood

There really seems to be a lot of dogs from this line doing well .Where did this line start and how long have they been around? We're there any two dogs that started it off? Was the line kept tight or crossed out?interested to hear .

Mad Dogs

The line started here in Mo. in the late 50s by crossing Lavely, Blevins, Grant and Smokey River. Whenever we find a hound, that has the ability and Bloodline that we feel compliments ours, we will try to introduce that blood into ours.

We have tried to keep the best from each out cross (usually one litter a year). The dogs from these outcrosses are then crossed back into what we had, always stressing on Natural Ability. Breeding this way enables us to have many possible crosses within the family and not in-breeding. Give me a call sometime, I can explain it better in words...660-563-3710...........Tim

Congrats to Robbie Brooks and family (Wi) on their recent wins withTobe (owned by Lance and Dana Byrd, Alabama)Tobe has only been in Wi. a couple of weeks and here is some of what he has done:

2 NT CH wins

Tobe has proven that he can win at home and away from home at some of the BIG hunts

Tobe 's sire is the Brooks Quad Grand Mad Dog Psycho Sid. Bluetick supporters will be hearing a lot more from this hound for years to come..........Tim

Mad Dog Loud Mouth Ralph (smoke x blueberrie) won 1st at Girard KS tonight. Had 325+ and 225 circle. It rained most the hunt and had a pretty good thunder and lightning show for a while, but I think I was way more worried about it than he was. Lol.

Robbie and Toby picked up their 3rd nitech win and qualified for next years purina nationals. There were 3 nitech casts and they scored 650. They will hunt again tonight. Nice job and good luck.

Ryan and Guy did some damage up North (Wisc) over the week end. Guy finished JohnIIII to NT CH with 3 1st place wins, Ryan put another 1st on Wacker II, that makes 2 1st place on him, Keep up the good work and finish these young blue dogs.............Tim
