I dont think it is the hate on lipper. Lipper threw tons of good hounds, lots of stud dogs, and had a major impact on the walker breed. Everyone knows that.
I think the disdain came from all the hype and promotion this litter got, future world champs, dominate PKC, etc......all before they were ever put in the woods.
Than they were never entered into a hunt to speak of until Tom started hunting impact recently.

Clover won a hunt to make him NT Ch. There was a question on another cast and when the UKC Ruled on the question (not sure how long it took) Clover had 4 wins to Grand. They took the 1st place win away from Clover and a dog in another cast was awarded 1st place. His 4 wins for Grand were also taken away. Clover was never entered in another UKC hunt and went on to make his name in PKC.

I have been told by people who know, Stylish Clover or "Whitey" might of been the best "coondog" to ever mash mud, I respect the people who told me that and what he reproduced in the stud pen, I have a grandson of his in my kennel, and sure have enjoyed him here for about 9 years......

I think what he is trying to say is that if these dogs were real quality hounds (and they may be) why not put them in a hunt before you put them in the stud barn.
Credit to Tom for putting Impact in some quality hunts. Seen him at the Lone Star and I see he was at the CHKC truck hunt this weekend. Personally I wouldn't breed to a dog that couldn't win in PKC or CHKC

Dang did anyone answer his question ?
They are 4... Coming 5 this summer. July 13. Defiantly not young dogs any more......they are In their prime.
.. I don't really know about any of them but Lizzy for sure, but I have heard from someone that I respect as a knowledgeable dog man that hunted with ROOSTER, and he said rooster had a real mouth went hunting real good drove a track, Treed with the meat and sounded real good Treed.. He told me if that dog did that on a regular bassis he figures he was real strong. I also have heard real good reports on the impact dog..
