Came home from eating out and my wife had left Annie in the big pup pen to get some exercise and I heard her treed in behind the house. I about had the big one her getting out right before the pups were do. She is a treeing Machine. Had a big fat squirrel. Bet she will be in her kennel from now on. Dave

I always liked Jack Russells, had a few that treed..But these fiests have got my attention some.. We will have to talk about em some day. Norm Starling has some real nice ones also.

Good luck with your pups Dave. Didn't know you were into squirrel dogs. I have a litter due around Monday but the mother is having some issues right now, we'll see what happens. Hope all goes well tomorrow.

Squirrel Dogs

Hello Dave my friend. I was running these boards tonight and ran across your thread with the squirrel dogs. I,ve always loved these little squirrel dogs. I've got a little mountian cur that aint much bigger than a fiest. I call her Windy, She can sure cover some ground, as long as the squirrels are stiring shes alright, but when they aint, shes going to find one some where. We bred her this time to a fiest that a guy has in Laurel, Ms. He does a lot of breeding and competition hunting and has some top dogs. I have a pup here out of the cross. I'll see what it will do this fall. Tell ole Danny Williamson I said hello when you talk to him. Take care Dave and I wish you the best with your Blue dogs and your squirrel dogs. Tell Bill Goode he's going to have to get off the couch if he's going to train a squirrel dog. LOL. Good Huntin------------Jack

Brownie/Annie Pups
Thanks Jack. I have two real nice squirrel dogs. Bill has hunted with Brownie and he has bought two trying to get a Brownie but that didn't work so he going to get a Brownie Pup. I let the small female get an infection and didn't notice it until she was about dead but The good Lord and I have her coming back now. The pups are real sweet. Little Angel got full of infection from her tail cutting and I didn't notice it until I went to worm them and it was Sat. Morning and no vet to find open but she lasted until Monday and I keep her in the house and took care of her until she could go back with Mom and still make sure every four hours she is full. Dumb mistake for an old Man. My blue pups are as nice as I have raised to this point. All book but one male and people in line for a female. Have a great day Jack and good luck with your cross. I would like to do that. I took one to MI one time and we hunted on what they called two track roads and killed all kinds of squirrels. I just had the dog and they did all the shooting. One had a 22 rifle and one a 20 ga shotgun. They sure wanted every squirrel. LOL! Have a great day. Dave

I love to see and hear some curs that tree squirrels. My nephews cur is getting really old so we don't go much anymore but its alot of fun.

This dark brindle female is the one that almost died when she was a pup. She is now as big as the rest and beautiful I think. Pistol is in the Back ground. These pups are fun. I had them to the woods tonight. They can move and jump quick. Dave

First I want to thank Danny William's for selling me this fine little female. Love her PED. I plan to breed her to my Fine Male dog Brownie. I purchased him from Chad Murphy and he's a good one. Chad tells me he's 5/8 Baldwin and 3/8 Mullins. We have Blue coon hounds and now have two outstanding Treeing Feist squirrel dogs. Can't wait until spring to breed them. Annie should be in heat in April. Thanks again Danny for helping me out. She wasn't cheap but what I wanted. One of the best feists I ever hunted with was by way of Kruz's Radar ( Buster ) owned by Tom Johnson of Walker coon dog fame. Tom and Buster are both going now but I will never for get either.
