The folks at Muck could clear this up,it would only take 60 seconds to tell the world that they support us...the hunter`s and outdoorsmen of this country.If they can not make this statement in a timely manner...well I guess we all will know the truth at that point.Mr. Condra,you mention the Bekina boots,your friend is correct.They are a very worthy boot worthy of your consideration.I along with several other guys have been wearing these boots since april of this year.All the guys have had very positive comments...we all like the product very,very well.I personaly brought the Dunlop boot to Dan`s for the very first pair of froglegs to be attached to the Dunlop`s.I was certain that the Dunlop`s were the only boot`s worthy of my time and money...I was wrong, as long as I can get the Bekina`s my Dunlop`s will stay at work!Dunlop`s are a great boot,but for coonhunting Bekina`s get the job done.A light boot very light,durable,and very compfortable.Try BEFORE you buy.

Nobodies been able to state who owns the "Muck" boot company. We don't know if they are American owned or Chinese owned. All I know is they were originally generated and made and advertised from China.

I don't know either but when I find time I may attempt to look that up.

Thanks for your posts, Carrie. As you noted, people and companies make mistakes. Clearly we made a mistake – a big mistake, but an honest one – and for that we are really sorry.

We understand the frustration and confusion our post caused, especially because the organization mistakenly identified is one that many of our loyal customers feel so strongly about.

But we want to make sure you and your readers understand that a donation has not been made by The Original Muck Boot Company to the HSUS.

Our employees did collect money that was delivered this morning to the Humane Association of Northwestern Rhode Island (HANRI) to honor an employee that passed and whose family asked that in lieu of flowers the money go to the local shelter. We have been in touch with HANRI and apologized for creating confusion. We hope this helps clear things up. We’re heartbroken that our community feels we let them down.

I've have all types of boots out there and mucks are the only ones that stand up to the test and have the best warranty. Muck has tons of people that sell for them, this is probably someone that miss represented wrong. I love mucks and will always have a couple pair as long as they are around. I keep one for work and one for coon Huntin.

No matter what the situation the muck boot company now has the opportunity to state which side of the fence they're on. And everyone knows that companies like that make donations to groups every year, and even if they didn't donate to HSUS, they should be donating back to farming and hunting groups anyway.

Muck has issued a full explanation and apology, it was good enough for me..........glad I didn't burn my boots!!

This will hurt the company, most won't research for the truth and just have an over the top response to the initial uproar.

Center12....I personally was not searching for an apology,I would like to know if that company supports hunters,and all outdoorsman?It is one or the other...support HSUS or us,they can not support both.With most of there sales being in hunting and agriculture....this should not be a big issue.They take our money with open arms...one statement could clear all this up.

They said the money was collected by employee's to be donated to a local animal shelter (not HSUS) in the name of a recently decreased fellow employee(which it has been). I'm not going to spell out the rest of the response, but nothing they did had any involvement with HSUS(other than a mislabeled instagram). They know where their bread is buttered and have sound such, but doubt that will stop the witch hunt. There is a recent response from the company, look it up.
