I could be wrong, but isn't Woody's mother, the Ada female, also the mother of GR NITE CH Red Ruby Hardtime Buck? He was out of the GR NITE CH Main Street Dino x Ada cross I believe. Buck was one of four English dogs to win two casts at the PKC World Hunt and make the finals on Friday night. Jason Bullard owns him now. Should be reading a lot about Buck winning more hunts in the future.

Another one would be the young dog Stanley Nichols has that he calls Climax. That pup is out of Dual Grand Main Street Max x Ada cross. I saw this pup at Stanley's a little over a month ago. Beautiful pup with a great mouth and Stanley is high on this pup. He really likes him.

I say all of that to say this. The Ada female has proven she can produce out of whatever she is bred to. That's half the battle right there and they have done a great job in breeding her to some really good studs that also produce well.

Good luck with Woody. I think you have a good one in him with some strong blood behind him.

Ada is Woody's Mother and is also the Mother to Buck. Woody is possibly one of, if not the best, I have ever fed. Put him in thin coons and he will get deep. Put him in thick coon and he is deadly. He runs a track as fast as I have ever seen and is a stay put tree dog. He is very independent but will tree with other dogs if necessary. He is a hard go getter, very smart and well mannered. Woody just turned 15 months old. Woody's Sire is Tapp Twister. I dont know if I was lucky or if that was a great cross? I do know I wouldnt mind having a female pup out of Twister or Ada to cross back on Woody down the road!

We had a good hunt. Tonights hunt was WET! First of all, Im old enough to know not to hunt when its raining and 100 percent chance all night. First Drop Dogs got Deep and Woody Split off and came back to 150 yards with two big coons. Second Drop was a MISTAKE. Dogs got deep and that 100 percent chance of rain went from a light rain to a down pour with thunder and lightning! Dogs were about 8 tenths of a mile by now and we liked to have never got Mr. Woody in! Needless to say, there was no 3rd drop!

National Forest

I cast Woody to the right. He struck as soon as he hit the woods. It was a hot one! (Lucky Drop!!) The coon came back out and crossed the road 5 ft from the truck. He drove him deep at 8 tenths of a mile. The coon looped back and crossed the road again at 700 yards. He ended up treeing this coon 450 yards down the original hollow I turned out in 2 HOURS LATER! One of the longest races Ive had and seen a coon at the end.
