Always heard Bear females were reproducers. Much like Ace females.
Might be a good place to start another post on reproducing female lines and male reproducing lines.

Lloyd, Black Land Bear never through to much tree power.
There is a BIG difference between Desire to get treed with the meat and Desire to just get treed!!!!

The new dogs bottom is Kansas junior I've read enough about him...any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated as I'm pretty new to the whole hunting thing, my kids have gotten me into it!!

Tug got to hunt with Tug once in a hunt when he was young real good mouth, nice tree dog. He set up a tree that night on top of a hill about a quarter in there walker backed him about a minute later. Man he echoed up thru that valley had a coon setting there.

Bearcat hunted him a while when he was young. Lot of ability could run bad tracks and have the meat. Go hunting type of hound. To smart for his own good..

Omer did you ever think that the females were taken to reproducers? You cant do that with males, the good females have to come to him..

Hank had 46 pups and titled 4 in the hunts, that's 8.7%... Not to bad, on the females he had to work with....

Billy that could be but that is why I said (consistent reproducing ability). When a male dog has the opportunity to breed a good female they need to make the most of it. They need to have at least half the litter being nice dogs that folks can tree coon with and even 1 or 2 of them being real nice that folks enjoy hunting. With Bear daughters they could make a stud look good in many different ways by percent wise or the owners just flat out enjoying hunting there offspring same as Ace, 2 Time and Buck daughters.
Billy if you can find me a Bear son that made a Blk and Tan female look good or even brought up there percentages of titled dogs that the female was bred multiple times I would like to see it.
