L's Dark Timber Wilma is the first to make Night Champion out of this cross. They were 13 mos old on Thursday. Who will be next; Link, Rachel, Wanda, Thunder or King?

Jason and the boys has all ways do a great job with the hounds. I do know this if Jason likes one there is something there. It will get the chance to shine congratulation again old buddy.

Link is getting hunted around three night a week. Over the next two weekends I will be able to go to a hunt. We will see who's next.

So, how did that go? I am very sorry to say that none of these pups will be at NRBD's. One is in heat, one has just come out of heat, one is fixin to come in heat, two handlers can't get off from work and the rest just plain aren't ready for the big time yet.

It sounds like Sam is a bad influence. My mom always told me not to play with the trashy older kids. What happened to hunting her by herself? Wendy only has 2-3 weeks left. I need to get her back up to Buck's for the birthing.

There are 7 that will run and tree their own coon at 13 mos old now. I guess that is about 75%. And there are 5 that their handlers/owners say are ready to be put in a hunt with one already a Nt Ch and one with a 3rd place win. I just love early starting natural tree dogs.

Bucky split treed from Bear and another dog and held the pressure and had a coon one night pleasure hunting up in Ohio 3 weeks ago.
I took Link to his first $KC hunt last night and drew out with 2 Gr Nt Ch's and another young dog. We got beat but I think that he looked pretty good. He is definately ready for the hunts and can hold his own.

Bond, there are several of the Moose X Wendy pups that are struggling right now. I was sure disgusted with mine last night and Jason and James are having problems with theirs also. I think that Doug's Thunder was having problems but he had been sick with Lymes disease. It must be the "terrible twos" stage that they are going through. That is what Tom Solberg called it. He said that a lot of the T-Top dogs did it and now is the time to buy one while the owner is mad at them.
