for every action there is a reaction and phil did have his free speech and now he is off a+e as alec Baldwin had his free speech and is off msnbc as paula dean had her free speech and is off food network these three made gay or racial comments that hurt the feelings of these very people that live among us ! as for Natalie from the Dixie chicks all she said was ! she was ashamed the president was from texas over the run up to the iraq war that was started on lies (fact) they were persecuted by the "right" banned from the radio there albums smashed and bulldozed in piles they received death threats now i haven't heard of phil , alec or paula getting death threats from the left

Did anyone see The 700 Clubs interview
with Phil today? Phils not hurtin.. he made the statement "AMERICANS NEED A BIG DOSE OF MANHOOD" also saying theres two kinds of people that don't grow facial hair. Women n youth..and he's neither lol GROW A BEARD he said.

What I liked best there was no mention of A&E. Maybe the interview was before the fiasco IDK

Phil was not wrong for what he said, they ask his opinion and he gave it, and A&E has the right to fire him if the see fit. However, that being said , the troubling fact about this whole incident is that I think it was a publicity stunt to energize the fan base and create buzz and curiosity among those who have never seen the show. I suspect that the opening show of next season will sport ratings that are 'out of the park'. It is a fake show about yuppies who grew beards to take on the 'redneck' persona, and suck in true believers. Why anyone cares that much about a TV show is beyond me. Same thing happened with Dog the Bounty hunter on A&E...He dropped the N bomb, was in the news and "in hot water", then back on the air. Its a TV show, their job is to generate ratings and make money. I also dont see how just about 5 yrs ago all them robertson boys were wearing khaki shorts, polo shirts, and clean cut as all get out..Now they all have long hair, long beards, and aint see in nothing but camo..If Phil was really against gay things, he wouldnt have let his sons wear khaki shorts or let Jase Highlight his hair..LMAO

Just saw a email that had a few Duck Dynasty topics in it. One that was strange was People Magazine had just released an issue talking to big O about TV. The strange part was Duck Dynasty was one of the only shows on TV that he watches at the White House and Air Force 1 . He said it is one of the few shows he allows his daughters to watch and one they all watch as a family . Wonder if there is going to be a koolaide summit held in Hawaii to see if he can fix the flap ?
