Thanks , Darren and Andrew ... one advantage to hunting a local strain and know the females that you get pups from is being able to pick your pups and get the look you want ... and Darren , I'll tell her momma ... she don't hear it nearly enough that her baby looks more like her ... sore subject at times , lol

An old pic of Achilla .. couldn't tell you when or where , but it was a cool pose .

Gorgeous picture of a GREAT tree style!

Mommas are sensitive about that... OUr granddaughter looks tons like my mum, me and my son, her daddy. The HUGE eyes and feminine lil chin thank Goodness look like her Mumma... But I nearly had to KICK my sisters at the Holidays when they were saying "Hannah looks JUST like Heather did!" lol...
Still think your baby is one of the Prettiest lil thangs Ever!

Shawn , it's a pup that is outta Jericho and his half sister ... they are barking at a hide and you can't let them out or they take off and could care less if you whistle or try and get their attention .

I wish I had video of my first Luke male ... he would swim out after a sunken hide in my pond and circle when he got there and start barking .... then he'd start diving and dunking and either find it and bring it back or you'd have to go get him ... he was like that as a puppy on anything ... run from him with a hide at 8wks and he'd pass out before quitting or going off to play with birds .

The gyp I have no that you see in pics does that alot too ... I got some decent video of her doing it ... Luke blood will knock the play and nonsense out of these B&T's ... love to see that semen used or Hutch get some more pups on the ground ..

Posted by Dirtdevil on 02-01-2014 01:59 AM:

Two little gyps outta our stuff .... first hide they had seen , took a minute but they got after it ... that Raider blood starts young , they don't all make anything but they are gamey.

Nothing new , but the one pup already is trying to squall and both bark heavy with very little puppy chirp ... that is the start of good mouth , lots of loud pups around but a hound shouldn't be chirpy or squeaky even at this age ...

Not hounds , but these are some of the toughest and hardest hunting dogs there are ... the black male was mine , and I imported a son out of the red male that was super tough.

Justin I must say that you sir have some mighty fine looking hounds.

Thanks Bill ... it has just worked out that way , I never picked looks over ability ... but i have invested heavily to get good stock from strong looking animals and have been blessed that it has came together .. and I appreciate the compliments .. i wouldn't put that much time into pics if I wasn't fishing for a few , lol.

Ron .. here is a jag/plott pup ... he was a little stockier than the littermates but unreal fast .. they just give their heart and soul to whatever task is at hand ... be easy on my boots and shorts ... i have never owned a single pair of sneakers or sandals .. only steel toe Doc Martins .. I play basketball in them , noodle in them , hunt in them ... I order them and keep a half dozen pair around at all times ..

justin just think what type of hog dog or bear dog those would make.

His littermates were good hogdogs ... one male was a really , really nice hogdog ... he would bust a herd and end up on the bigger boars and catch on command ... he was stolen with some other dogs just before my old RAider was stolen ...

Posted by Dirtdevil on 02-16-2014 04:49 AM:

These male dogs are out of control trying to out do each other ... I don't know how a guy 77 years old can walk for miles and miles to the dogs like my Granddad does ...

Thanks , Ron ..you are right on all counts ..it don't take money to live the good life ... here's a neat pic of a guy's big game pack that is mostly Duncan bred ... and look at the lean . mean muscle on them dogs ... not the typical pot bellied stud dog we see on here alot and someone trying to tell us how hard they hunt ,lol.
