Roxy

Hunted Roxy Tuesday night in a big section, It was cold and blowen snow here in Lisbon. I did it mostly because I wanted to see how she would handle the low coon movement and a woods she could stretch out in. (1.5 mile square) She struck in about .75 miles and worked back toward me off to the left some and treed at .6 miles from where she was cut. Walked on in to her and had the coon. Thats the kind of night your glad you dont have to walk hunt one. I checked her collar info and she had covered 5.3 miles of hunting, never left the block and I loved every step of it to the tree! At 55 years old and still putten in 60 hours a week at work I still like one that gets gone when they have to but dont pass em up as they go. Treed coon every night so far this season. Her second coon season so far has been great! Im haven Fun! Ron Jackson

Sold 12 yesterday Got $20 for 1 $16 for 1 $12 for 3 $8 for 5 and $2 for 2. These were on the hoof not skinned. He is paying $25 for tops, anything 19#s and over. From what I seen and heard there that most guys are averaging about $10 a coon. He said the price may not last after the first couple weeks after everyone floods the market??

like to get out tonight for the 1st time this year, but did leave pickup in the yard, 4 truck loads, little tired and got to get to a tree stand yet. hoped the rake wouldn't fit my hand but it did, took me awhile to figure out how to operate it, looked long and hard for the radio and steering wheel!
