If you dont like it, don't try to get qualified. Bottom line is, a small number of people will not bother to get qualified because of the location. I bet they still won't have a problem putting 105 in the finals, no matter where the finals are located. Leaves on or off.

Agreed. No matter where UKC decides to hold the finals someone is going to complain about it.

At the fairgrounds where the premier is held. there are plenty of close clubs to guide.

point at hand..u got a dog getting away with some real circle trees.
its could have the coon!!!..or with the leaves off..u could see without a doublt. or it will not have the coon.it just takes a lot of.. ifs.. out of the equation.and the ..True Champion..stands befor u.This will mean,
UKC.Will deman that there registry...will be bye far the top of regist.

Heck take out the strike pts..1st dog treed with coon..125 plus on each drop..or all dog recast
2nd dog treed 100..on separate tree.
3rd dog treed 100..on separate tree..
and 4th.dog treed on separate tree..100..no dog holding strike rule.
any dog called treed..and another dog backs up..in a 5 minute tree rule..follows.75 2nd..3rd 50..and 4th..25..
any dog called treed and leaves or not there in the 2 minute rule..all dogs are minuse 125.
any dog pitched in at tree..and is not treeing at anothers dog tree.
is scratched..on separate tree..away from others will be plain minuse 125...

jmo.give it a thought.

Truely genious it is. The true Champion as you put it, stands before you in September, not any less the World Champion. Yes, i could agree that maybe a dog could take a circle or two, that might possibilly be minused at other times, but that is the breaks of the game. The real issue here is after about half a minute of your call, that i hung up on you, for cursing me, is that you are bitter that your dog was cheated and another won the World Hunt on getting a circle tree and not a minus. True because you said it was. I guess the whole coon hunting world should now change the way they hold the most pestigoius event in the sport, because you got cheated on a circle tree. Yep it works for me. I am in, until you start blaming your loss on ukc, and the reps they had judging. Now, your mind is warped over facts, of which, you have them wrong. If and when you want to talk sensibly, you can call again, If you want the same reult, try the same tact again.

I like those people that think the hunt is rigged!! I mean really they saw coons an pulsed up coons!! If I drived 500 miles for a chance at a wld ch I doubt I'd plus up possomes or spider eyes or see coons that weren't there!! Really people who cares where it's at or when!! The best dogs that draw the best guides an have the best handlers win!! Yeah nov deer season in the whole month here!!! I like feb let the coon dog shine that month!! Prob not high scores that month!!

Mike i like your thoughts. To even suggest that the hunt itself is remotely rigged is un-fair to the winners, and to the UKC itself. I know how hard each of those dedicated staff members work to ensure we have a quality hunt and that no rigging takes place. While i know that we are all human, and judges can and will make a mistake, the vast majority is straight up. I don't think we need to move the date of the hunt for corruption purposes at all. On a normal basis, and to say the least, the best dog on that night will win, and we should all congradulate that handler/dog combination on their accomplishment and not try to belittle that win with an I got the shaft accusation.

I know a man personally who thinks a judge made a mistake this year at the world, and if the judge did in fact do so, it did cost the man a trip into the finals. The credit to this man is he isn't on here or anywhere else seen bad mouthing the judges, UKC, or hunt officals. That is a credit to the type person he is, and with that said, he knows his next chance is just down the road.

I agree with you 100 %. The only thing I would like to see is the date adjusted to keep the full moon out of the equation .

My hats off to all the folks that chased the world hunt. Alot of time and dedication not to mention the expense. I congratulate each and every one of them and hope to get off my lazy butt and chase it 1 of these years.

Now I no now that your a rep..for UKC..and Im not blaming the judges for there mistakes cause some don't no there ass from there head.but.. that's what some get stuck with.some try hard to be fair as they can be.and some are right up on there game and call it like it should.and I never blamed the judge Mr.Johnson.for circleing the tree..and gave me a loss..thats your words your trying to put in my post.

I took it like Big Boy.and wasn't mad or pissed..but saying the wld hunt should be with the leaves off.and that Mister Johnson just takes out more ''ifs''..
